Sing, Sing a Song Saturday

I started doing what I call Sing, Sing a Song Saturday.  I'm going to post one song on Saturdays that the boys or I like.

The song may be part of a movie, a kid's video or just a song we like. It may or may not include words. I'll try and include why we like it and/or the history of the song/singer.

This week I've been listening to Ray LaMontagne. I love that he sounds just as good live as he does on CDs.

He reminds me of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Their music never gets old.

Hold You in My Arms

The sad lyrics still are in my mind. "I found myself face down in the ditch with booze on my hair and blood on my lips. A picture of you, holding a picture of me, in the pocket of my blue jeans."

Ohhhh.... I really like his music. Very nice

I remember a song that I bet the kids would like. My friends and I used to dance to it when we were teens. It is called Simple Simon Says by the 1910 Fruitgum Co.
