Sing, Sing a Song Saturday

I started doing what I call Sing, Sing a Song Saturday.  I'm going to post one song on Saturdays that the boys or I like.

The song may be part of a movie, a kid's video or just a song we like. I'll try and include why we like it and/or the history of the song/singer.

It's not really introducing anyone you don't really know already; like I usually do.

A lot of the bands I find are from late night TV. David Letterman had this next band on awhile back. It's called Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I like that the singer's voice is mixed with such a variety of sounds and other voices.

They are an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2000. The group is composed of vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase.

The band has recorded four studio albums; the first, Fever to Tell, was released in 2003. The second, Show Your Bones, was released in 2006 and was named the second best album of the year by NME. Their third studio album, It's Blitz!, was released on March 31, 2009 in the US and on April 6, 2009 elsewhere. Their fourth album, Mosquito, was released on April 15, 2013. On their website they have mosquitos that crawl around the site. I felt a bit like slapping my screen.

This song is mixed with Broadway inspirational voices.
