WW: Bad to the Bone Devils Tower {Linky}

It took us a lot of time to drive from where we were at in South Dakota and went to Devils Tower in Wyoming. The driving there seemed to be taking forever.

Isaak is the king of pouting and fake crying. I could tell the car ride was getting to him. I can't even remember what he was pouting about.

Mr Fake Pouter

I have to say the drive was well worth it! I just wish Yellow Stone wasn't so far away. I would have loved to see that again. [Insert Mommy pout here].

Devils Tower was cool to see to! Can you believe people climb it? We just walked a path going around it.

I think the boys would have loved to climb it though.

Just outside the path is rocks, rocks and more rocks.

Doesn't it look like fun?

Here was the outside view.

The view on the other side.

 The little details were so pretty!

 We lifted this rock up. Trust me it was heavy!

Daddy came out of this rock!

The best view in my opinion is from a distance though. It's so pretty!

Have you been to Devils Tower?

The cool views definitely look worth the ride. Of which I probably would have slept through most of, anyway - I'm terribly boring company on road trips. ;D

Amazing views! That rock is really something else! I would really like to see it in person some day. I can't imagine one climbing that. I tried climbing the rock wall at our gym, got about 15 feet up and said To Hell With That! lol.

We have been there, but before kids. AND climbed to the top - it's actually not that hard! (I may revise that when trying to drag two kids up there, ha ha!)
