Bass Pro Shop

The second part of our day (read the previous post because that's the first part) I wanted to be for the kids. I saw that Bass Pro Shop had advertised in the paper a kid's event. I knew the kids would love it.

They had a lot of little things for kids to do. The only sucky part was that it was all outside. The face paint was melting. All the kids were hot.

They had fun. No bitching occurred.

First they got their faces painted. Isaak had a spider painted on his face, and Mica had a mask to be Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Then we had the boys shoot BB guns. Mica was better at aiming than Isaak. Do not trust Isaak with a gun!

They also hunted for metal arrowheads with metal detectors, cast fishing poles with the attempt to have them land in buckets, spun a wheel for a little prize, and colored duck necklaces.

They got wore out.

Then they were over tired at bedtime.

We have one near us, by Gillette Stadium where the patriots play, and my boys could spend hours there.

Sounds like a fun time. I love the spider face painting. Sucks that it was so hot that it was melting. When we go to the Bills games we get the face painting done, but if it is really hot we avoid it as we know it won't really last.

Iowa? We stopped at the one in Iowa leaving Lincoln once. I'd never been, it was huge and they had an awesome fishtank wall at the restaurant.

That store was so big they had binoculars to see stuff, lolol We all liked it.

Your pics look like it was a fun day out. :)
