Sing, Sing a Song Saturday

I started doing what I call Sing, Sing a Song Saturday.  I'm going to post one song on Saturdays that the boys or I like.

The song may be part of a movie, a kid's video or just a song we like. I'll try and include why we like it and/or the history of the song/singer.

Little Dragon is a Swedish electronic music band from Gothenburg, formed in 1996. The singer is Yukimi Nagano and her close high school friends Erik Bodin, Fredrik Källgren Wallin and Håkan Wirenstrand.

They signed with a British indie label Peacefrog Records and released their self-titled debut album Little Dragon on 27 August 2007. Their second album, Machine Dreams, was released on 17 August 2009, followed by their third album, Ritual Union, released on 25 July 2011.

The band's name was inspired by the "Little Dragon" nickname Nagano earned due to the "fuming tantrums" she used to throw while recording in the studio. "It's a little exaggerated but there is some truth in it", Nagano said. But they've grown up a bit and She realised you can't have a fit every day because otherwise you won't be able to stand each other.

You always seem to find the coolest music to post on Saturdays. I always look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I haven't heard of them but then I don't really listen to any bands outside of the US.... Hmmmm Thats not true. The Beatles, Monkees ... they were from England.

I haven't heard of them either. But their music does sound cool, a little haunting though.
