The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

We saw The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art before going there in Lego form. That was pretty cool.It looks like they have an extra row of windows that were not needed though.

The next day we visited the real thing. It's right next to our old campus. We didn't go in. It's free by the way. We just didn't have the time to do it all. We decided to just walked around outside. They have a beautiful building, and a lot of sculptures around it.

We stood with a headless group of people. For some reason they remind me of The Wall by Pink Floyd.

Saw many Henry Moore sculptures. The sculpture garden started out just being his work. They've added through the years.

I just love this tree. That was one you could not touch. They have a camera by it that tells you, "Do not touch" if you get close. Daddy got a little close. I so want one for my yard. To think, no leaves to rake up.

But mostly just took in the pretty building.

What is your favorite museum to visit?

Favourite museum? Outwith the Smithsonian, it would have to be the Eiteljorge Museum in Indianapolis.

I haven't been to a museum in so long that I couldn't give you a name of one if I had to save my life.

No leaves? Ah, I can relate. I'd probably miss my trees, but not the work that goes w/the falling leaves. :)

This looks like a great visit!
