Rachel With Cardholder Services

I know that scam calls just come with having a phone. That doesn't mean I have to like it.

I keep getting calls from, "Rachel With Cardholder Services". She promises to lower my interest rate.

I at first just hung up on them. That didn't work. I kept getting calls.

I've waited to talk to someone, and asked to be removed off their list, and all I hear is a click. Not only are they annoying with phone calls, they are RUDE to.

I so badly hate this company!

I don't know if it will help, but I reported them to the do not call list, and to the government. The government doesn't respond to individual complaints, but they do respond if they get repeat complaints. If enough people report "Rachel", then I will have gotten somewhere.

If you want to report Rachel because you get unwanted calls from her to here's her number: 804-843-6509.

Stopping Robo-Calls:

File a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission at 888-225-5322 orwww.fcc.gov/complaints.

Sign up for the National Do Not Call Registry and also file complaints at donotcall.gov or 888-382-1222.

Sign up for your state’s Do Not Call list, too. Google your state name and Do Not Call list.
Remember to get on both state and federal do not call lists and register all numbers — land lines and cellphones.

I am not sure if it's the same in your state, but here in MA, the do not call list is only good for 2 years, so you have to re-sign up every 2 years. I don't know why they do that.

Supposedly (don't know how true this is) if they call and you say " stop calling me" after the 3rd time you can report them for harassment.
I hate callers like that...

We don't even answer our home phone anymore because it's just telemarketers. Constantly.

I've signed up for our local DNC list too. I still get ad calls and text messages sometimes, but much less than before.

I reported one company to our DNC agency before too. So far haven't heard anything back from them. It's good if people make the effort to complain against errant companies so that action can be taken against them.

I actually did get a live person once on MY cell looking for my husband. When I asked how she got the number because it wasn't his (and never uses it on anything!) she hung up on me. She was shocked when I called her back and asked if she thought it was polite to call my phone then hang up on me. She stammered an apology and said she'd remove my number from her list. So far, she hasn't tried calling back lol.

I hate those calls and wish there was really some way to stop them. I haven't gotten a call from Rachel yet and hope I don't.

Caller i.d. helps. I don't answer any calls I can't identify.
