Sing, Sing a Song Saturday

Sing, Sing a Song Saturday is all about me discovering something that is different. I don't want to post things that you and I have more than likely heard before. I want to find something different. It could be from another country, someone singing from the streets of NY, and more.

I fell in love with a video around Christmas time. It was an award winner at Clio's Awards.

I decided to look up who sang the song in the video, and noticed that it's no one I've heard of. Go to find out that I like a lot of his music.

His name is Tom Odell. Have you Heard of him? He has a very large following on YouTube. He has a really grown up sounding voice, but looks really young.

He is a singer-songwriter from the UK, and has won some awards. He started writing songs when he was only 13, but didn't tell anyone because he thought people would think he was uncool. He went to Brighton Institute of Modern Music. There he was in a band, but decided to go solo, so he wouldn't have to depend on others.

The guy looks like a little kid. I think he's right to not rely on other people, shows he has some good sense.

Wow, he does look wicked young. He's got a great voice, though.

I love it! He sounds a bit like Chris Martin at times.

Never heard of him, but I love the sound of his voice.

I find myself loving a lot of UK artists. Have you heard of Jessie Ware? I love her music.

I have never heard of Tom Odell, but then I haven't listened to many songs and music in a long time

My girls are all into those British singers, so I have heard of him before. I really like his sound!

You've introduced me to someone new. :) I didn't know the music, but it does sound nice.
