WW: Bee Charmer {Linky}

Travis told Isaak if he was gentle he could get close to honey bees, and bumble bees. He knows that it's he's disruptive to them he can get stung. He did get stung on the hand a few weeks ago from a wasp. It was flying up by his head, Isaak swatted at it, and it stung him.

Isaak is fascinated with the honey bees, and bumble bees. He goes right up to them and pets them. He's done it several times. So far he hasn't gotten stung. I guess if he does he'll leave them alone.

Until then he's our bee charmer.

He is very brave! I couldn't do that. He IS a bee charmer! This reminded me of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. One of the characters in that movie was also a "bee charmer". Grabbed the honey right out of the nest!

He wasn't afraid at all. He's been petting them all weekend.

That's impressive. I wouldn't go petting a bee, As for wasps, one of those stinkers snuck up on me and stung when I was just walking. I believe they are more vicious than bees.

Very brave. Not something I could ever do. That said, I'm sure he would like to visit our house. We still have the bees in our walls.

That's really interesting to see so many bees together. I 've normally only see 1 or 2 buzzing around each time.

Braver than me too. We have bee keepers just up the road so we are seeing lots of bees at the moment.
Happy #WW

What Mary said. I think your bee charmer will go his own way when he's grown, and his way will seem almost magical. =)

Wow, I would be scared to do that. He looks very comfortable though.

That is amazing that he is not afraid of those bees. I am for sure. I did get stung by a wasp twice on my arm and leg and it hurt quite a lot!

I got stung by a bumble bee not long ago. It hurt like Hades. I hope he doesn't get hit.

We'll pet the big fat fluffy bees. The others we stay away from. I got stung by a yellow jacket a few weeks back and it was miserable recovering for a week. Jason is highly allergic, so we have to keep an Epi Pen on hand at all times in case he gets stung.

I am surprised that the bees let him get that close to them. Maybe he is a bee charmer.
