In the Hood

Isaak had some school work sent home last week. I know Mica had the same assignment. He had to draw Rural = Farm Towns, what life looks like in the Suburb = Neighborhoods, and Urban = Neighborhoods. I'd say we live in the suburbs probably. Except our suburb is a little older, so the houses don't look all the same.

The rooster goes, "Co ll dodll dooooo!"
The lamb goes, "Mbeeee!"

Only it's not a lamb it's a lame.

My house = "howse" to Isaak.
In case you need to know he labeled the sun.
There's his school - "scooll" to Isaak.

The Urban Cities have what I thought he wrote, "Meth Slides". It's actually "Metal Slides". Our suburb has metal slides as well.

I laughed at the cuteness. Do you live in the country, suburb, or city?

I live in the suburbs in an older home too. I think the older homes are made so much sturdier than the way they are making the newer ones.

how cuteee is that...I love all the drawings. We now live in a suburb I guess, Astoria is in Queens so not sooo city like Manhattan :). I used to live the central part of Jakarta and I have to say we miss all those great animals' sounds and greeneries...

We live in an older home suburb as well. I just love the cuteness in the pictures. Indiana is like Meth Capital of the US, so we've probably got a lot of those Meth Slides around here lol.

This is so cute! I love getting stuff home from my kiddo. Just the way she sounds words out... they're written exactly how they sound, but it still isn't correct, which is frustrating for her, but oh so cute. I keep all that stuff haha

I guess we live in the suburbs. Dallas is yet a ten minute drive on a good day, but I still have buildings bundled up on either side. Wish we were in the country.

great artwork!
Broxton is FINALLY starting to think about moving away from stick figures and into more detailed drawing.
