AdoramaPix Review

You may remember that I posted about AdoramaPix before. I'm a big fan of photography. AdoramaPix helps people turn their digital photographs from abstract computer files into beautiful keepsakes designed to last a lifetime.

I was also wanting to get the perfect picture of my boys together, which never happened. Sickness, Travis being out of town, Isaak had a few fall mishaps, and rain got in the way.

Their website has a lot on it, so I was worried initially about ordering from it. My worries were for nothing. I did a step by step process of ordering from them.

Step one: Go to their website. Scroll down to Create Metal Prints.

Step two: Pick the shape and size you want.

They have a lot of sizes and shapes to choose from!

The size and shape I chose:

Step three: Choose your image. You can upload a new one, or find one you've uploaded already.

I picked an image I took at Mesa Verde. A crow just happened to perch in one of their ancient windows.

Here you can choose to leave it full color, black and white, or sepia tone. I went with full color.

You can crop, rotate, and adjust the image different ways, and order it.

It ended up being easy to order. I guess just a lot of steps made me nervous.

Shipping wise it came really fast!

It did print greener on the right side than I prefer. There is just too much cyan that isn't in the print. It lost some print quality from the original. I've had this image printed on other printers. See the original below the print.

I do love that it's printed on metal. How cool is that?!

It came with all the stuff to hang it, or place it on a table.

It also came with a cleaning rag.

I do like the idea of the shape, size and material that it prints on. I wish they sent a proof if the image turns out so different from the preview, which mine did.

Their contemporary metal prints capture memories in rich color and vibrant detail. Because your images are infused right into the metal, and not painted on the surface, their metal prints are extremely durable. Not only will your metal image be water and weather proof, but scratch resistant as well. You can even clean it with glass cleaner.

Your memories deserve to live in true, archival luxury with AdoramaPix metal prints.

It surely looks fantastic, Alissa..I am thinking of developing my pics but considering that we are moving a lot, at least every 4 years, I might just have a few of our favorites :)

I like that it's printed on metal too.. hardy, easy to clean and the colour won't fade in years to come :)

I agree with Ai. Metal sounds so durable, your prints will last a very long time!

I think they do such a good job with their metal prints!! You really can't even tell they're metal at first glance.

That is so cool.
I love it. I went to their site once to look around, but was turned off when I could not find any pricing. Maybe I was just having an off day, but I have yet to go back. Now I will since you showed the price ;)
Thanks
