Random Tid Bits

  1. Travis talked to a co-worker that has a son the same age as Mica. His son is mowing their lawn. We have some problems though: Our yard is huge for being in the city, and it's really hilly. He's in training right now. Mica's a smart kid, but he lacks in the work your ass off department.

  2. Last week I took the boys to Mica's soccer practice. There was a tree that Isaak just had to climb. I really don't mind him climbing a tree at a park. He was trying to go up higher and higher. I'm like, "Nope! I don't need another hospital fee." I handed him his book, and he read up in the nook where he was at for 15 minutes.

  3. Mica woke up with a horsey voice yesterday. I said, "Mica I think you have allergy issues going on." Mica said, "Maybe my voice is getting ready to change." Isaak said, "I sure hope so! I find your voice to be really annoying!" I said, "I highly doubt your voice is changing. That happens around ages 13, 14, or 15."

  4. I have a student that's flunking my class. He just turned in an F piece for a major project. I just don't understand why one would spend so much to go to a school, and half ass it so to speak.

  5. I had to stay at work until 9 last night. I know I'm going to be sleepy today. Of course this is a day where I teach. It's been raining for about 3 days now. That doesn't liven the day.

Our yard is big and hilly too, and Jason hates mowing it. He, however, won't let any of us to it because it has to be done "just right". *eye rolling over here* Though, my girls don't work their asses off either. It's like I asked them to murder a puppy when I ask them to help pick up sticks out of the yard. They don't like physical labor.

I almost fell out reading about Isaak. Lol, your boys crack me up. Gotta love them. As for the f project kid... I don't get why anyone pays to go to school and then slacks... makes no sense to me.

When you get him trained up, let me know and I'll hire him to mow my meadow. I'm getting too old, myself. ;-)

My oldest is a worse horse. My 2nd oldest is now that he's older. My daughter, hahahahaa (and that's all I have to say about that) and my youngest will work without complaining but only when asked to (he doesn't volunteer).

How fun to read in a tree!!

That is surprising that someone would pay for a class and then turn in an F project. :( Sad.

I did love reading the "voice" conversation. lol! And then Mica getting to read in the tree?! How fun! :) I'm not sure it looks that comfortable, though
