WW: Split Gallery {Linky}

A few weeks ago I was all bummed because two things I applied to didn't pan out. I applied to another right away, and was accepted. Split Gallery accepted two of my pieces for their opening reception. They just opened their doors.

I along with other artist had our work hung for it. You can see more of my pieces here.

Here we are! Isaak had a birthday party that night, so he was not with us.

The creepy guy in the stocking cap is my Dad. Ha!

The sunflower piece is mine. Later the girl went up too. I know the artist that did the frog painting.

Do you go to art openings? We go often. Gotta support the arts!

We have Art Beat downtown here which is a lot of fun, but not too many art openings. Our mayor is trying to change the scene though, making it more hip to attract more artsy millennials, so maybe we'll see more openings like this in the future. Congrats on your 2 pieces getting a feature!

Oh wow, you had to be ecstatic to get your Art Work hung up like that for everyone to see. Does that mean I can tell everyone I know an "Artist" now? How cool is that and love the flower pic, but I love the girl more... it's adorable with the hoop slip.. totally cool! Thanks so much for sharing! CONGRATS!!!!
