Thankfully my husband is pretty patient with me and just rolls over.Terra Heckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01528404663373917950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-65000740998978714792013-06-07T10:37:29.523-05:002013-06-07T10:37:29.523-05:00I know I did a few times as a kid. I had him come in my room several times - once he got in bed with me and i just moved over...then he fell out of the bed...got up and asked me what he was doing in my room. :) He didn't ever remember...Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09546005328367734468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-52430316870367493002013-06-06T20:03:46.143-05:002013-06-06T20:03:46.143-05:00My oldest still talks in his sleep but when he was...My oldest still talks in his sleep but when he was young he also walked in his sleep. Before I knew he did this, the first time he came into our family room I was upset he had gotten out of bed for no reason at all. I asked him why and after answering (slowly) that he was using the rest room, I quickly realized he was sleep walking and tried to gear him back to his bed. Instead he turned towards the deck (2nd story) to use the bathroom there which of course scared me. At that time I didn't know you weren't supposed to wake a sleep walker so that's exactly what I did. I saw his eyes lose the glaze and turn into that of focus. It was so weird.

It can be genetic esp first generation, but I was told his was a vitamin deficiency, stress, sleep deprivation (he had hard time falling asleep) and possibly related to panic attacks that I wasn't aware of. Made sense though because his Dad, my ex, was hateful to him.

He outgrew the sleepwalking but from time to time I'm told he still talks in his sleep.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-15411149082599732532013-06-06T17:04:41.129-05:002013-06-06T17:04:41.129-05:00How funny! My youngest came flying out of her room to see what the commotion was all about lol.

Several times he has woke up screaming thinking someone is standing over him. I tell him all the time if he is going to sit there and scream like a pansy, I don't know how he thinks he is going to protect us if someone breaks in in the middle of the night lol.
