This is what we woke up to this morning:
Snow! It was a thin dusting. Then it spit snow off and on all day. A few nights ago parts of Omaha had golf ball sized hail. Luckily we didn't get any of that hail. I saw tons of pictures of people holding it on FB though. It's been rainy, gloomy and cold.
I was ready to put away the winter pjs and shirts. NOPE!
Usually Nebraska has 4 true seasons, but right now it seems like we'll go from winter to summer pretty fast. I guess we do have all of May and most of June for Spring.
It was warmish here the day before yesterday and downright cold yesterday. I wonder if I'll see snow outside when I open the curtains this morning. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.
ReplyDeleteOH NO! We've had snow up until May here in New England before. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long winter for so many!
ReplyDeleteYuck! That is such an ugly sight to me. It's been raining all week here, but I will take that over snow any day of the week!
ReplyDeleteNo snow for us!! It is about 50 degrees out and I hope the snow is done for the season.
ReplyDeletewow, I would not like it if we had snow again on Long Island. We had enough this year. We had one 80 degree day this week and today we are back to 40 degrees freezing for me with rain and wind. I am ready for spring too!

ReplyDeleteOnly like 41 degrees here today.... I am so tired of cold weather that I could scream...
ReplyDeleteHere in KY, ,it was 81 Wednesday, 40 Friday, and now 75 today...
ReplyDeleteEeeks I hope you get to enjoy the warmer Spring soon! It's been so hot during the day here but raining at night recently. Very erratic and lots of people falling ill :/
ReplyDeleteIt's been in the 80s here :) Nice but I'd prefer to have the 70s for awhile first!
ReplyDeleteI remember once there being snow everywhere then all melted when we thought spring was finally here then on the day I was to deliver one of my children there cam a blizzard. That was April 1.
