I agree, the sculptures are so unique and interesting! I haven't been to an art show in quite a while. My Dad owns a custom framing shop and he has had shows/exhibits in the past.
Oh wow! Never heard of this artists, but that sculpture looks amazing! I can't even imagine the time and effort it took to produce it. Do you know if each piece was all sculpted from one piece of wood? (It is wood, right?) I absolutely love the church with the people waving from the windows!
I think next weekend my husband and I are going to the High to see the Andy Warhol exhibit. I absolutely love pop art even though I've seen exhibits of his work in Prague and NYC at this point. *shrugs* (We get in free on the first weekend of the month with my husband's Bank of America credit card.)
@Mandy - The big sculpture are wood. Some kept breaking with the moving pieces. I remember the sculptor Calder said, "Better a standing still sculpture than a moving one that won't work." He made a moving sculpture that Einstein watched for a long time. He was done with them when they kept breaking. I went to a Warhol show in Savannah.
