I don't know where people get that girls talk so much more than boys.An Apel a Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05409392467947270395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-15888136348602137782017-08-23T20:18:23.257-05:002017-08-23T20:18:23.257-05:00Oh my gosh. I hate awkward situations.

Oh the ignorance of childhood! At least you don't have to deal with a child that will actually get a period. I was babysitting for one last year and the two years before that. One day she came home (shortly after the talk) and told me she thought her period was coming (in 4th grade). Who am I to disagree? She said she was getting cramps. I let her call her mom, and her mom told her "no, you aren't". *sigh* And from that point on, any time she thought she might be getting close, she would complain about male and female substitutes that would ignore her pleas to go to the bathroom or nurse to handle period cramps. 🙄 Yes. Be glad you have boys. 🙂 Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00415510811585368037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-52354286879470247192017-08-20T21:55:08.511-05:002017-08-20T21:55:08.511-05:00Glad he's feeling better now! If it was allergies it's strange he's fine now.An Apel a Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05409392467947270395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-71520073805179031112017-08-19T00:32:45.836-05:002017-08-19T00:32:45.836-05:00That's hilarious about the period. My aunt said she's just getting over hers. You never know what's going to pop out of their mouths, usually in public.

I can sympathize with the administrative problems you are dealing with. I always dreaded the start of school because bizarre things like that tended to wind up on my desk as well. I don't miss teaching.
