Covid is getting people left and right but they won't let us. We have to teach in the classroom. We get kids left and right who are positive (and some teachers). And it is VERY hard to keep kids 6ft apart. Our classrooms are FULL with more kids coming in and the tables sit 2. So they're NOT 6 ft apart ever. Lines are worse. Then the cafeteria... and dismissal...and it's a constant battle to have ALL kids keep their masks on at all times. It's honestly not safe, I don't care what anyone says. We do have a cleaning lady who comes and wipes down doors and door handles throughout the day, which is great, but it's not enough. mail4roseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17850985344834209198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639909808542124326.post-68664782758368157432021-02-10T18:34:27.570-06:002021-02-10T18:34:27.570-06:00Awe, thanks for the shout out! I tried to design the bookmarks with the boys in mind, but goodness most book designs are super girly. So, I just used several different elements from separate designs and hoped for the best LOL

Allison had the option of going back to school, but I left her home this year. She does better with in person learning, but the risk just wasn't worth it to send her to school. They are terrible about keeping the kids apart and I just didn't feel comfortable having her there daily. She did start a fast food job in November. Thankfully, the interior isn't open, just drive through only, so she's not in contact with many people. They are very serious about covid precautions too. She had a tummy ache last Sunday, but they made her take 10 days off anyway just to be safe (It wasn't Covid. I'm sure it was the start of her monthly cycle giving her issues). I will be sending her back to school this fall for her senior year. Hopefully, most of us will have had the opportunity to be vaccinated by then!
