The Most Funny Martin Luthern Kings Day Story I Know!
- My niece Kailey {cousin to the kids} is now 16 years old. She's the most giving young lady I know! She started up a cheerleading squad for special needs students this year. She thought herself sign language to better communicate with students that use this form of communication.
- When she was five years old, or so she was in a Martin Luther Kings Day play.
- She was all excited! She told her mom {my sister, the boy's aunt} all about it.
- She was the white person that told a brown person to go to the back of the bus. She called African American's "brown". She knew that he was a special man that changed all of that.
- When she got all done describing the play she said, "I just can't wait for Martha Stuart Kings Day!"
- My sister was trying hard not to laugh, but was laughing anyhow. She asked again what the special day was called. My niece replied, "Martha Stuart Kings Day!"
- There you have it: A very special day with a name that was mixed up by a five year old.
