Isaak was Daddy's helper. Mica walked off the job. How is it that the 4 year old is a better helper in the kitchen and outside than the 7 year old? We've been getting on Mica for not completing his tasks.

He figured out that he could dig some up to.
Isaak observing a potato he dug up. He held one up and said, "I'm the Statue of Liberty."

ReplyDeleteWe decided not to plant taters this year and prolly a good thing. At least you got a 1/2 bucketful. I'm sure they will taste extra special. xo

It seems to have been a tough year for a lot of gardeners. Hopefully next year will be better. Handsome young man there assisting in the digging :)

ReplyDeleteAfter having a good turnout last year I could see how disappointing it would be to not have one as large this year. I know you must be thankful they at least produced because after all the time and effort that goes into gardening to have some things not produce is such a disappointment. With us moving we haven't even started a garden let alone thought about what we want to plant yet but hope to by the Fall but at least by Spring.
