Digging Potatoes

Last year we dug up buckets full of potatoes. This year, not so much.

Isaak was Daddy's helper. Mica walked off the job. How is it that the 4 year old is a better helper in the kitchen and outside than the 7 year old? We've been getting on Mica for not completing his tasks.

The potato pass off from Daddy to Isaak.

"Look what I got Mom!" Two very small potatoes.

He figured out that he could dig some up to.

Isaak observing a potato he dug up. He held one up and said, "I'm the Statue of Liberty."

 Just some potatoes.

This is all we got. :(

  2. Yay for your little potato helper! They do like to help more when they're younger, but it's a bummer when they lose that interest. :(

  10. After having a good turnout last year I could see how disappointing it would be to not have one as large this year. I know you must be thankful they at least produced because after all the time and effort that goes into gardening to have some things not produce is such a disappointment. With us moving we haven't even started a garden let alone thought about what we want to plant yet but hope to by the Fall but at least by Spring.
    Cute pics, as usual :)
