While we were there it started down pouring rain for a good 20 to 30 minutes. As soon as the rain started all the kids in his class stopped what they were doing, and stood by the windows to stare at the rain. It was as if they never saw rain before. One kid said, "Sensei we're not in a drought anymore!" All the adults that were in the room giggled. Including me. Sensei said, "We're going to need a lot more rain to pull us out of a drought."

ReplyDeleteIt is raining really hard right now. I hope it rains for quite awhile so I don't have to water for a couple of days.
Well it had been quite a long time since we had any -- I had to stare at it too! Was nice.
