Sing, Sing a Song Saturday is all about me discovering something that is different to post. I don't want to post things that you and I have more than likely heard before. I want to find something different. It could be from another country, someone singing from the streets of NY, and more.

This week I'm posting someone that many of you won't know. It's a street drummer. He drums on buckets. His hands stay super busy. He's the best drummer I've ever seen I think. He can play a regular drum set, but the most interesting to watch (in my opinion) is him playing on buckets.

His name is Gordo. Also known as Gordo Drummer. Gordo has a wide variety of influences: Buddy Rich Tony Williams, Stewert Copeland, Carter Beauford, Jon Fishman, John Bonham, Steve Smith Dave Weckle, Jimmy Chamberlin, Bill Buford, Dennis Chambers,Will Calhoun, Matt Cameron, Steve Gadd, Aton Fig, Simon Phillips,Omar Hakim, Steve Jordan, Gary Novak, Scot Coogan, the list really goes on and on.

He lives in Sydney, Australia. Another crazy fact about Gordo is that he can speak in Japanese. He studied at the Tokyo School of Music.
