I just think that it's insane how much money we give to foreign countries for food, yet so many here can't even make enough to support their families without the assistance of food stamps. We live in the US for God's sake! I don't see Walmart jumping on the bandwagon to help out their employees anytime soon. It's all about their bottom line, and that's it.

ReplyDeleteWalmart moved in and our favorite grocery store was run right out of business (next town over). I still miss the old store. :)
That is crazy. And sad.
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit that I even shop at Walmart, but I do.... Rosey is right. They run everyone out of business and then raise their prices after they do.
