Someone came inside and said, "Ummm...Mica is stuck on the fence outside." Daddy was holding our newest nephew:
I was helping Isaak with eating something that was messy, and cleaning him up.
Grandpa went to go get Mica.
I didn't realize Mica was truly stuck on the fence. I just thought he couldn't get over it. I grabbed my camera, and went outside. Grandpa had already gotten him off.
He had all kinds of holes in his jeans. YIKES!
That could have been bad! His poor man parts!
Afterwards I said, "Mica please don't climb a fence without asking an adult first. I'm not mad about the jeans we had to throw away. I'm just worried about what could have happened to your man parts. Do you know what I'm talking about?" He said, "Oh ya Mom...that would of been bad."
I tried climbing a fence when I was his age, and the back of my shorts got caught. It was the biggest wedgie I had/have ever encountered.
Of course I told Mica about that story.
City kids shouldn't climb fences.
What's the worst mishap you had when you were little?
That could have been a lot worse. Glad it ended without complications.

ReplyDeletePoor Mica, glad he was not hurt. I remember being his age and we played a lot of games with other kids and I ended up slamming my head into another kids head while playing "Red Rover". I had a black eye and it hurt!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad it all ended well. I have gotten caught in a many a fence as a youngster. Barbed wire can be unforgiving LOL

ReplyDeleteI remember when i was little I also got stuck climbing a fence. My knee got stuck on the top and I ended up hanging by my knee. A little painful but thankfully no blood or broken bones.

ReplyDeleteI can't remember a specific one, but I remember getting into pinches a lot when I was a kid. We were into everything. Oh wait, I remember hopping the school yard fence to cross the empty field as a short cut home and being calf-deep in burrs! That was the last time I climbed that fence!
