Arches National Park Lizards

It was always a treat when we saw lizards on our trip. We don't have any lizards in Nebraska. In Arches National Park located in Southern Utah we saw a few lizards.

We were walking around here:


And saw a lizard. 

The problem is that lizards move quickly! Daddy caught this one on camera:

Call me odd, but I so wanted to catch a lizard to keep.

  3. Growing up, I have seen huge monitor lizards visiting my mom's garden every now and then.

  5. We took pictures of the lizards in Florida too, for our vacay, but they were NOT as big as these!! Cool!

    how big were they?
    We have lizards here... I HATE them.. but they are small, like not even the length of your hand...
