Mica's always been the kid that wants this, or that. I love this book because it addresses a family that doesn't have a lot of money to get presents. A child learns that the socks he once threw to the side as being a gift he didn't want was all the sudden the best gift one could ask for.
Brita our Elf on the Shelf left the book for the boys.

ReplyDeleteI love that you had the elf leave it. I think that leaves more of an impact of the spirit of giving instead of getting when an outside source brings it to our attention.
