He's looking less drunk (wobbly) and more confident each time he goes. :) He was pretty happy to show me his skills since he usually goes with Travis to the park to attempt riding.

Do you remember learning to ride a bike? My Dad tided a pool on the back of our bikes. He held on, and would let go when he thought we were ready balance wise. I remember freaking out at him because he didn't tell me he was going to let go. That was part of his plan.
I do not know how to ride a bike! My Other has tried to teach me, but I have bad balance and got frustrated with falling. He's trying to teach my kiddo to ride and she's only on training wheels now, but we have the same problem about having somewhere to ride. The sidewalks around here are really cracked and crappy so. Eh. :/
ReplyDeleteI am glad the bike riding is going so well. Kids really enjoy that. Doubtless there will be some scrapes and bumps along the way but that's good training too.
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad to hear he is doing so well with his riding! Mariah was a late rider too. The poor girl just has no sense of balance and can trip on air lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember, but I know my dad taught me ;)
ReplyDeleteGood memories. Broxton still uses his training wheels.
Good for him! We did get a balance bike but I used money I made blogging to get it as a birthday gift one year.
ReplyDeletebravooo Isaak...Bo et Obi loves riding bike as well. Bo is riding almost everyday now with my hubby :)
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome. I remember my little one just picking up his big brother's bike one day and off he went. Chris and I were shocked.
ReplyDeleteI do remember learning how to ride a bike. They would put us on a hill and Shove us down it on the bike. we either learned a rider fell.
