Peanuts

When we went to see the Jurassic World the movie theater had this stand for The Peanuts Movie:



My boys never got into The Peanuts. I've tried to get them to watch it. I used to think it was special to watch their movies each holiday season. Mica says, "It's dumb!" I roll my eyes at him. My nephews Evan and Elijah (my boy's ages) love The Peanuts. 

I gave Evan and Elijah these mugs one Christmas:

I got Emerson a Peanuts glasses holder. He'll use it more when he gets a little older. Right now his glasses are too small for it.

I want to pick up another mug for my youngest nephew Edison. I'll buy it, and stash it away for when he's past the throwing stage. The problem is, the only one left is the Lucy one below. I don't mind bossy Lucy, but it's a girl, and it has no fun backside of the mug. What would you do? They have other characters like Garfield, but they like The Peanuts. Would you just get a duplicate of one above?

    I love snoopy and the gank...such cute characters :). I just notice there is the movie coming about it..

    Those are cute mugs!!!
    Don't worry about them not getting into it, Broxton isn't really a fan... although we try to get him to watch them for each season :)

    That is a really cute set up for the Peanuts Movie. My son always liked Peanuts. I would like to see that and the Jurassic World movie too (maybe next weekend).

    I still watch the Peanuts holiday shows, the same ones I watched as a child. There's really a timeless quality to them. I think I would just get a duplicate mug.

    I'll wait on it because maybe they might have new and nicer designs by the time he grows up to be able to use it? He might like Lucy but I'm not that keen on it since it doesn't have a matching back design too!

    Cute mugs. My children never got into the Peanuts either though they used to like the Christmas show.

    I'm not a big Peanuts fan myself. Don't like 'em, don't hate 'em.
