Isaak is fascinated with the honey bees, and bumble bees. He goes right up to them and pets them. He's done it several times. So far he hasn't gotten stung. I guess if he does he'll leave them alone.

WW: Bee Charmer {Linky}
Travis told Isaak if he was gentle he could get close to honey bees, and bumble bees. He knows that it's he's disruptive to them he can get stung. He did get stung on the hand a few weeks ago from a wasp. It was flying up by his head, Isaak swatted at it, and it stung him.

He is very brave! I couldn't do that. He IS a bee charmer! This reminded me of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. One of the characters in that movie was also a "bee charmer". Grabbed the honey right out of the nest!

ReplyDeleteThat's impressive. I wouldn't go petting a bee, As for wasps, one of those stinkers snuck up on me and stung when I was just walking. I believe they are more vicious than bees.

I got stung by a bumble bee not long ago. It hurt like Hades. I hope he doesn't get hit.
ReplyDeleteWe'll pet the big fat fluffy bees. The others we stay away from. I got stung by a yellow jacket a few weeks back and it was miserable recovering for a week. Jason is highly allergic, so we have to keep an Epi Pen on hand at all times in case he gets stung.
