Who Would Play You in a Movie of Your Life?

A Life Examined asks a question a month.

This month the question is: Who would play you in a movie of your life?

This is a tough one. For one I'm not very good with actor's names. I don't read up on their personal lives too much either.

First off here I am:

I'll do my best. I was once told that I look a lot like Mindy (Pam Dawber) from the old show Mork and Mindy. It's hard for me to see it. She has a long skinny face, so do I. Her hair is brown, mine is brown brownish grey.

How interesting it would have been to work along side Robin Williams!

My husband thinks I have Liv Tyler lips. That's all I have that Liv Tyler has.

If I could pick someone based on looks, and their acting I'd pick someone that doesn't look like me at all. I have a girl crush on Mary-Louise Parker. I've liked her since she was in Fried Green Tomatoes. She can play a southern, classy, conservative girl to a bad drug dealer.

I know Mary-Louise Parker had some plastic surgery, but not too much. She looks great for being 51.

  1. Good question....I have no idea. I don't know if I look like any celebrities.

  2. I've been told I look like Ashley Judd. My brother used to swear I starred in The Addams Family. He thought I was Wednesday Adams. Guess he thinks I look like a little weird goth girl lol. So, he'd say Christina Ricci.

I'd like Sandra Bullock to play me. I just love her!

  3. I don't think I really look like any specific actress (that should tell you something...), but you're lovely as is!

  4. Had to google Mary Louise Parker but I think she looks like you actually!! I've never really thought about that but if I can.. I'd like Kyoko Fukada to play me. She's one of my fave Jap actresses.

    Ai @ Sakura Haruka

  5. You are beautiful and put these ladies to shame! Funny you mentioned Fried Green Tomatoes; many folks compared me to Kathy Bates when that movie came out...

  6. Javier Bardem from "No Country for Old Men."

You're a great looking lady. You could play yourself, no problem.

  7. If you don't think anyone looks like you, you could do what DC films do and pick someone who's a completely different direction. Would it mean anything to you if I said that Jesse Eisenberg is set to play Lex Luthor in the new Superman movie?

  10. I can see the resemblance! Good choice! I loved her and loathed her in Weeds. Roller coaster ride, that show. She's also in this parody movie Saved! and did a pretty good job.

  11. Pam Dawber is a little too old to be you. Mary Louise Parker is a good choice. She's a versatile actress.

  13. You may not think you look like her, but with the right hair and make-up Mary-Louise Parker isn't too much of a stretch.

  15. Hmmmm.... I have absolutely no idea who I would get to play me in a movie. I don't even know any actress that even remotely resembles me.
