It's a tepee with a cityscape taking it over. Did you know that tepee can be spelled teepee and tipi as well?
Medias: Acrylic paint on canvas mostly painted with a plastic bag, thread stitching, Isaak's old pants were dipped in Gesso and used for the tepee, toothpicks, vinyl triangles, and pencil shavings out of the pencil sharpener. Very much mixed media.
Update: Here's the finished version I hope. I added lavender triangles, and the raven in the sky to stand for destruction.
That is brilliant Alissa love it well done :-)

ReplyDeleteWhen I looked it up in the dictionary it said, "tepee |ˈtēˌpē| (also teepee or tipi)".
It turned out great! And a fun little spelling lesson, too :)
