While we were out there a tour guide came out and said, "Do you want to join our tour in 5 minutes?" I've always wanted to go on a tour there, so I answered, "Yes please."

The original owners were from England, and wanted a castle like house. The architect was from Scotland, so inside there is a Scottish look. Have you ever been inside a castle?

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I do love a good castle tour. We went to Casa Loma in Canada last year. I still need to go through the photos. I took so many, but it was such an incredible tour, how could I not?

ReplyDeleteExquisite! The only castle I've been inside is Casa Loma, here in Toronto. But I've been to Westminster Abbey, which is pretty spectacular.

ReplyDeleteI notice you always look nice when you go out. Then I thought about it, and I realized my wife always does too. So I asked her why she takes pains with her appearance when she goes to town, and I just wear old work clothes. She says ladies always like to look nice.
Then I was glad I never complained about her buying clothes and such when she has a closet full.
Nope to the military. It's kind of up to them though on what they want to do.

I would love to go to England and see all the huge castles... one day!!!!
