I Kept Thinking...

  1. I kept thinking, My goodness that font behind them is horrible.

  3. I kept thinking, I can not get that Patrick Swayze song out of my head. Someone posted Patrick Swayze singing She's Like the Wind live on facebook. Of course both the song, and debate had to enter my dream last night. Donald was singing it to Hillary. His hair was blowing like the wind. Ha!

  4. I kept thinking, Mica really should go to bed, but he looks like he's amused with this debate. He stayed up an hour past his bedtime, and went to bed at 9.

  5. I kept thinking, This meme is really funny, but I should probably take it down. Someone defriended me on facebook before. It was because I posted something political. I don't post political things very much, like hardly ever. I left the meme on there last night, and took it off this morning.

  7. I kept thinking, Hillary isn't coughing. Really I sound just as bad as her a lot of the time. Trump isn't in that good of shape health wise either.
Did you watch the debates last night?

WW: Easter {Linky}

I was beginning to think I had no great Easter shots of my kids because there were no great ones on my camera. Then I checked my phone. I did get a few.

My son Mica and his cousin Evan - 3 months older than him

Isaak was all excited for the egg hunt! He ended up finding the Golden Egg that had a $20 in it!

My Grandpa and his brother Bob enjoy watching the little kids play catch. My Grandpa is in the dark blue shirt. He'll be 90 soonish.

Storm Kayla

Tonight we'll find out if Omaha is going to be hit hard with snow. I guess this storm is called Kayla. I knew they named hurricanes, but I never knew they named snow storms. I guess they do now.

So far I don't feel too much panic. Except for the fact that I already got the call that the boy's school is off. My sister said her boy's school was called off to. We don't even have a flake in the air yet... It's better to be safe than sorry. Busses can't drive in the stuff, and kids shouldn't be waiting for the bus in extreme weather.

Besides the storm the big talk is that Jim Canton is here in Omaha. He's the weather man on The Weather Channel. I admit I had to look up who he is. If he's here it must be big.

I did get all my errands ran over the weekend. We have all the necessities. I forgot a few things, so I ran out during my lunch break today to get more.

Isaak was super excited that I got new shovels. Now that Mica is a better help in the shoveling department we needed another adult shovel. I got a shovel just for Isaak to. He was giddy jumping all excited like when he picked it out.

My husband's work told him that they may not have work. He works at a dental lab. Dentist offices , patients, and delivery drivers cancel. A snow day may happen for him. If not, it's ok that he brings the kids to work at times like this. I have a few busy baskets for the boys. Mainly putting together their Valentines (one MadLib card, one MadLib, one pencil, and one heart chocolate). They have their Valentine boxes to decorate as well. Then they'll have their Kindles, DS, flashcards, and munchies.

I'm supposed to teach Tuesday and Wednesday. Regardless staff is to report. Fun times! Not! It is what it is. If it's really bad I'll just take a vacation day.

Are you supposed to get snow where you are at?

If I don't blog for awhile it's because we've lost power. It's supposed to be really windy.

Happy New Year!

I've been kind of slow with blogging lately. I took off time last week, so the boys could get some time at home to play with their new toys, and have lazy days. On those days I don't think we got dressed until noon. We ran around in our pjs pants and t-shirts. It was wonderful. I cleaned and cleaned to. Areas that typically don't get dusted a lot are now dusted.

We had a dance party on New Years Eve. The whole idea was to have kids come over, and parents could go out if they'd like. We had 2 disco light balls running, loud music, things cleared out in the living rooms so the kids could have room to dance, snack type foods, desserts, and sparkling juice.

In total we had 5 adults, and 11 kids. I know we all ate way too much, but had a blast. I loved how my nephew Edison danced the whole time. Watching 1 year olds dance is so cute!

One of Isaak's friends (I have gotten permission to post his picture online. His mom posts pictures of Isaak at times to.)

I'm not one for making lots of New Years Resolutions, but I do like to set goals that I started before the New Year happened. Last year I made the goal to give myself more time to get places. This year I want to save more money for retirement, clean the house more, paint more, and have some blog updates that I have been working on.

Questions For You:
  1. If you have a blog, who do you get your hosting from? I'll just say it, I'm a dumb ass person when it comes to that. I really don't know what I'm doing. It scares me to set up hosting. I started this blog as a modern day baby book back in the day. I never knew it would lead to friends, reviews, and an outlet to express myself. I have a new "look" started, and as much as I've gotten comments on the name of this blog, I have to change it. I have a new name to!

  2. Do you set New Years Resolutions?
Happy New Year! I hope 2016 is better than 2015 for everyone!
