- During Mica's last preschool conferences his teacher's said that he didn't know how to skip.
- Mica's always been behind on things like skipping, pedaling a bike and even with walking he had a limp at first. He crawled with one leg tucked under him. Only one leg was used to crawl. Since he was only exercising one leg, he had a limp when he started walking. I've never seen a baby crawl like Mica. I saw a lot of funky crawls in our Baby and Me Group. The crawls I've seen: Army crawl, polar bear crawl and pretty much a scoot across the floor. Mica's was very different then all of those. When I looked his crawl up when he was doing it, I read that a lot of kids that get Autism crawl like that. Of course since Mica was born with a normal side of his tongue and a skinny side, the doctors were concerned of major asymmetric disorders. I was so worried. The boy had such odd things happen to him when he was a baby. I don't even think I could demonstrate what his crawl was like. I wish I had a video of his crawl.
- Well the boy knows how to skip now! He was a Buzz Lightyear, "To infinity and beyond!" skipper last night!

I'll Sick to Sewing Paper!
- I tore Mica's Buzz costume apart tonight.
- I added a strip fabric in the center to extend the torso. The costume is a medium and is supposed to fit age 7. Mica's 5, and it's tight. He's torso long.
- It fits barely! He'll have to wear it 3 times next week. Not to mention going potty!
- Anyhow it was pretty frustrating process for me! There is this vest thing on the outside that's attached. It makes everything so hard to see.
- I left 1/2 of the costume in tact, while I sewed the strip of fabric in.
- I got done sewing everything. I was going to call it a night. ;)
- I turned it right side out, and the legs were facing the wrong way! :( The costume had a pant leg in the front and in the back. I told Daddy that we could just combine Little Mermaid with Buzz Light Year.
- Needless to say I was DONE!
- Daddy took over.
- I'll stick to sewing paper; like I did during the summer for Isaak's room.

Buzz Lightyear to the Resuce
- Mica was excited to get his costume in the mail today!
- We had to order it online. Toys R Us said that we probably wouldn't see it in the stores at all because Buzz is the HOT costume of the year.
- It used to be that people fought in the lines at the stores for a Cabbage Patch Kid. Now the HOT items don't even get to the store to fight over.
- Mica wanted his costume to stay on. I said, "No. Not while eating dinner." He said, "Everyone will be excited to see me Mom." Act excited to see him friends and relatives.
- Here's Mica, or shall I say Buzz Lightyear:
