- I know it's been awhile since I've posted a random post. Working from 4:30 AM to 1:30 PM isn't too bad. What's bad is working from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM a few days later. I feel like I have no routine. I'm tired ALL the time!
- The boys were supposed to start school next week. Omaha is doing so bad with COVID! The teachers got on the news, and talked about how they don't feel safe going back. I have a few thoughts on this. First I agree with them, second I see groups of kids all over hanging out without masks on, and with their parents out and about without masks... How is going to school any different?
Education should be in my mind set before sports, and the economy. We've made it clear as a society that education is last. If we would have kept all things that we could shut down as long as we could, and had school in session first that would have been ideal. - Things need to change, and fast! I've been saying this for years. We should move to one person in a family working. Single parents, shouldn't have to work as hard as they do. This would give children a stable home environment, that they need. Then make the price point of everything just a bit cheaper. If everything was cheaper this could be accomplished.
Kids need home cooked meals, supervision, help with their homework, and someone to talk to.
What are your thoughts on all this? I'm not in the position to judge you. I want to know what you think. To me it's crazy how political this has gotten. We need ideas, compromise, and resolution. - Isaak was cracking me up the other day. He said, "Mica do you think all holiday shows are kind of cheesy?" I don't even know that I heard Mica's answer. Then he said, "Mica do you think it's odd that dogs always talk in cartoon movies and shows?"
It reminded me of that seen in Stand By Me...
- At home I wear Cheez-it shirts all the time. I literally a walking advertisement for them. They are comfortable. At the store a lady said, "I love your shirt!" I wanted to say, "If you follow me home I'll give you one." I have about seven of them. Ha!

Random Tid Bits
This week I'm going to try and capture some of the funny things I've heard, thought, or said in my life.
- Once when I was in middle school my older sister that was in high school had a serious talk with the parents. Apparently she was 3 wayed.
You know 3 different people on phone lines, and she didn't know about it. She was completely embarrassed that a guy she liked heard her conversation. She was complaining to a friend about it on the phone.
My Mom heard 3 wayed, and thought she was talking about something sexual. My sister quickly found out what a 3 some was. That's not what she did. - One person from our carpool when I was younger was talking about how a guy combed his hair all the time. For a joke they bought him a bunch of combs to put in his locker. My Mom heard her say, "Condoms" instead of "Combs". That became a bigger issue then it needed to be.
- I referred to someone I know as an "Asshat" - slang for someone that has their head up their butt. When I said it, I surprised myself because "Asshat" sort of sounds like "Asset", which mean pretty much the opposite! Do you think they sound alike?
- So the person above - the Asshat is someone I see almost daily - Monday through Friday. He's not my husband, or my kids. I swear he's been grumpy since school got out! I think he has IMS - (Irritable Male Syndrome). If you don't think it's a thing read here, here and here.
- If someone says, "Cheez-It's" really fast and slur the word it sounds like, "Jesus". If I go to church, and sing a song about Jesus I can replace "Jesus" with Cheez-It's" and no one would really know. Except for me of course.
The next photo is from a long time ago when I got a Cheez-It box of merch to review.

WW: Fall Festival {Linky|
The boy's school has a fall festival every year. They have a lot of games, a haunted house, food, and Duct Taped the principal to the wall.
A kid at the festival said, "I want some Cheez-Its." I just turned around, and he laughed.
We dressed up for the event:
Isaak the Zombie
Mica as Captain America
I Went as a Box of Cheez-Its

#CheezItExtraToasty Review
My boys are always hungry! I hear, "Can I have a snack?" and "Can I have dessert?" all the time.
Everyone in our house was super happy when I got a HUGE box in the mail from Cheez-It Extra Toasty. It was packed with all kinds of fun things.
Included:
I was destined to like Cheez-It's. Why? Because when my Mom gave birth to me my Dad was eating them. My Mom turned to him and said, "Put the Cheez-It's down. Help me deliver this baby!"
The products in the box are so fun! The boys were cracking me up because they've been fighting over the sunglasses, socks and blanket. In fact Mica said, "When it gets cold out again can I have that blanket on my bed?" I said, "Sure, but really it's my blanket." They've taken turns wearing the socks. Those to are mine. ;)
We have all dived into the Cheez-It Extra Toasty Crackers. I teased Travis saying, "Those are mine. I got them for review. You can't have them." I let the boys devour one box, and the other box I mixed in with pretzels.
Mica was home one day when Isaak was out with a friend. He became my Cheez-It Extra Toasty model.
I happen to love the sunglasses! They say, "Extra Toasty" on the side.
Mica's favorites were the crackers, the socks, and the blanket. Isaak's favorites where the crackers, and beach ball.
Are you a Cheez-It fan? Try out Cheez-It Extra Toasty crackers! They will not disappoint you!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free from Cheez-It. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Cheez-It Review
I think I was destined to like cheese crackers.
The trouble is, is that many types of cheese crackers are loaded with calories, and awful oils. I still have to watch my intake of cheese due to my lovely allergies. A little cheese to satisfy my craving goes a long way.
Cheez-It gives the same taste as Cheese Nips or Cheez-Its, but has half the calories! I really want to try out many of Fiber Gourmet's other snacks and products. They make sure their products have extra fiber added to them. They've been featured in Good Housekeeping and Woman's World.
Ingredients:
Modified Wheat Starch, Wheat Flour, Wheat Gluten, Palm Oil, Natural Shredded Cheese and/or Natural Cheese Flavor, Salt, Yeast Extract, Yeast Lactic Acid, Paprika, Red Pepper, Yellow Mustard Seed, Dough Conditioner (Enzymes). Contains wheat and milk ingredients.
About Cheez-It:
- Tangy Cheese Cracker Taste.
- 11g Fiber Per Package (44 % of Your Daily Value!)
- Each package has about 30 crackers.
- Just 60 calories per oz - compared to 140 in Cheeze-Its®

What We Thought:
Daddy, Mica and I each tried a single bag. We all thought they were pretty good!
Daddy did say, "Well they do taste healthier than other cheese crackers." I don't know if that's bad, or good. He says that with anything I make that's made to be healthier.
Mica gobbled them up in seconds.
I couldn't tell a big difference in them in comparison to other crackers. I think it would be a great thing to have around for school lunches. Generally if I'm packing the kid's lunches I try and add something snack like in there.
