So...I Was a Little Worried

Last weekend Mica got stuck on a fence at my Aunt's house. The kids were playing outside. A ball went over the fence, Mica decided he could climbed it, and got stuck.

Someone came inside and said, "Ummm...Mica is stuck on the fence outside." Daddy was holding our newest nephew:

I was helping Isaak with eating something that was messy, and cleaning him up.

Grandpa went to go get Mica.

I didn't realize Mica was truly stuck on the fence. I just thought he couldn't get over it. I grabbed my camera, and went outside. Grandpa had already gotten him off.

He had all kinds of holes in his jeans. YIKES!

That could have been bad! His poor man parts!

Afterwards I said, "Mica please don't climb a fence without asking an adult first. I'm not mad about the jeans we had to throw away. I'm just worried about what could have happened to your man parts. Do you know what I'm talking about?" He said, "Oh ya Mom...that would of been bad."

I tried climbing a fence when I was his age, and the back of my shorts got caught. It was the biggest wedgie I had/have ever encountered.

Of course I told Mica about that story.

City kids shouldn't climb fences.

What's the worst mishap you had when you were little?

WW: Bad to the Bone Devils Tower {Linky}

It took us a lot of time to drive from where we were at in South Dakota and went to Devils Tower in Wyoming. The driving there seemed to be taking forever.

Isaak is the king of pouting and fake crying. I could tell the car ride was getting to him. I can't even remember what he was pouting about.

Mr Fake Pouter

I have to say the drive was well worth it! I just wish Yellow Stone wasn't so far away. I would have loved to see that again. [Insert Mommy pout here].

Devils Tower was cool to see to! Can you believe people climb it? We just walked a path going around it.

I think the boys would have loved to climb it though.

Just outside the path is rocks, rocks and more rocks.

Doesn't it look like fun?

Here was the outside view.

The view on the other side.

The little details were so pretty!

We lifted this rock up. Trust me it was heavy!

Daddy came out of this rock!

The best view in my opinion is from a distance though. It's so pretty!

Have you been to Devils Tower?

Climbing Chairs and Trees

Today was eventful. We had Grandma Spiehs' family Christmas. It was postponed to today because on Christmas the hosts got the tummy flu. Round two of me making food.

Isaak said to me while I was making the food, "Mom you are so old, but you really look young. You probably don't want to look old because then you might die."  Kids say the craziest things!

I stepped out of the kitchen to go do something and heard a laugh from Mica and a cry from Isaak. This is what I saw:

Isaak thought it would be fun to climb our kitchen chair like it was a ladder. "Sorry son if you're going to do something so silly, I won't rescue you until I grab the camera." For the record he's alright.

Once we got to our destination I thought we came on the wrong day. No one was there hardly. Usually I'm running on the late side when a lot of food is involved. I'm not the best with my timing in the kitchen.

Isaak was well entertained with these dogs:

We ate, the kids played in the snow with their cousins and later on the kids got a three presents each from a big huge box. Great Aunt Becky asked a Christmas question and if the kid got it right they got to pull a present out of the big box.

When it was Isaak's turn he would not answer any of the questions. He all the sudden became REALLY shy! Somehow he got presents anyhow.

Mica of course was super outgoing.

Cousin Emerson had fun during this time!

I caught Aunt Angela in a really funny moment! I thought she might kill me if I posted this photo to her facebook wall. If someone posted something like this photo of me, I'd laugh my ass off!

The kids went to play outside again and then I heard Aunt Terra say, "Is that Mica and Evan in that tree? OMG they are as high as the telephone pole!" Sure enough they were! 20 something feet up in the air. Thank goodness they got down! I wish I got a picture of that one.

The boys came in and went downstairs to watch a movie. All the sudden my cousin's kid was crying.

This is what we heard, "Isaak threw a chair at Colton!"

We envisioned this type of chair being tossed in the air and hitting my cousin's kid in the head:

Then we found out my cousin's kid threw a chair at Isaak. Isaak said, "That didn't hurt!" Colton said, "Throw one at me!" Isaak threw one back at his head.

Then we were envisioning a lot more action. A flat out brawl; little kid style.

Then we found out they were throwing this type of chair back and forth at each other:

On our way home I asked the boy's if they had a good time? Mica told me that he wishes he had a sister just like Kensley; my cousin's other child. I told Mica, "That's wonderful you like Kensley. You are not going to have a sister though." Yep we're done having kiddos.

Pump it Up

Yesterday I went to Pump it Up for the first time. Daddy has taken them there before. They've always liked it!

Mica's sexy pose I guess!

Mica squished his face against the net. He looked funny! Not so sexy!

They were in a pit that had gloves. Isaak wasn't as prepared as Mica was. Mica was coming at him, so Isaak put his little fist's up. Ready to fight!

Can you believe that I went through the obstacle course to? I had to see what the boy's experienced! Squeezing through was interesting!

The slide was amazing! Super fast!
