#bohemian #sweater #cardigan Review

Bohemian Style:

I just got this Bohemian Stripe Knitted Cardigan Sweater. I'm in love with the Bohemian Style, so much! It's cool because there's lots of color, patterns, and can go with many things.

You can dress up Bohemian clothes with slacks, black pants, or a black skirt. It can also be worn on days where you don't want to dress up; by pairing it with jeans.

I happen to have Bohemian shoes, so I wore them with the sweater. My pants and top under the sweater were all black.

Good for Snowy Days:

Yesterday it snowed. The boys got off school, for the second time this winter, due to snow. My students had class. I really didn't want to go in to teach; it was cold, the boys were home having fun without me, and I knew many students wouldn't show up.

I actually had most of my class show up in the morning, but they trickled down to a wapping two students by the afternoon. It boosted my moral by wearing something new, and warm. The classroom I was in is always cold.

What the Bohemian Sweater is Made of:

I’m not to fond of what it’s made of:

55% nylon
40% acrylic
5% rabbit fur

I wish companies would add less plastic in clothing, and packaging! I'm ok with animal fur as long as the animal passed away naturally, or it's being used fully. Native Americans used animal fur, but they also used their bones, their meat and so on. I hate the idea of animals being killed just so one part of them being used, for our consumption. Does that make any sense? I know only 5% is rabbit fur, while the rest is other things. What are the best things to use to make fabrics? Any thoughts?

Care:

It can be washed in a standard washer!

I actually bumped into the car yesterday when I was cleaning it off. The sweater got black snow on it. Those that live in the south, snow is only pretty, for one day. After that it's a black slushy mess; from cars, trucks, busses, and SUVs! I just washed my sleeve in the sink with a drop of hand soap, and it came clean.

Where to Get This Stylish Bohemian Sweater?

You can get it for $145, but it's on sale for $65 at Backnear https://backnear.com/collections/sweaters/products/bohemian-stripe-knitted-cardigan.

It did take a long time to get it. I'm spoiled with Amazon Prime. I think it was worth the wait. I'll wear it a lot.

Are you a big fan of cardigans and sweaters?

Womens V Neck Shirts Criss Cross Top Review

I hardly wear pink. I always felt like it's a color for little girls. As I age I find that I like it more. Possibly because I'm around boys all the time.

I just got this pink, or what the company Bele Roy calls a champagne colored shirt.

Colors:

2 Blacks
Blue
2 Wines
Dark Grey
Navy
and the Champaign I reviewed

I do like the variety of colors! Maybe they could add teal, yellow, red, red-orange.

Materials:

65%Cotton
35%Polyester

The material is super soft, and lightweight. Perfect for hot summer days. It's been around 100 degrees all week. I need to wear something lightweight.

I do like the criss-cross tunic style.

Matchy Matchy!

I don't usually do this, but I picked out this shirt to go with my new shoes. I love the shoes, but what do I wear with them? They have a lot of colors in them. I think pink stands out the most, so the shirt goes well with them. The shirt can be dressed up more by wearing it with a shirt too.

I've been super into patchwork furniture. I think that's what made me like these shoes. If you don't know what patchwork furniture is google "LIAM Patchwork Couch". I love it! It might not be for you. I'm a little color crazy sometimes!

Sizes:

The shirt runs from small to XXL.

It ran true to size. I have gained some weight from being on meds to help me breathe. I need to loose weight. Living and breathing is important too. Some shirts have been feeling tight. This one doesn't tight. It's loose and cool. Possibly too cool for early spring, and late fall. Perfect for now!

Cost:

$11.99 to $16.99 on Amazon Prime. That's not bad at all. You can get it here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TSJ6TLR

What color would you have picked out?

#backtoschool With Wee Blessing

I was contacted in May to review some clothes from Wee Blessing. I am so excited to share them with you!

We went through many of Mica and Isaak's old clothes this weekend, and have filled up a big bag of hand me downs for my nephews. Boom! Wee Blessing set Isaak up with lots of new fun things to wear when he goes back to school on Wednesday!

Each Blessing comes with not 1, but 3 hand selected outfits.

Wee Blessing started us out with a survey to get to know who they are hand picking outfits out for. I think this is an excellent way to get to know their clients.

Isaak's favorite is his Just Hangin' Out Spider-Man shirt, and what he calls "Basketball Shorts". They can be worn for other things besides basketball. He just calls them that because they are easy to move around in.

Gymboree Gray Spider-Man Hangin' Out Tee $26 marked down to $12
Oshkosh Navy/White Drawstring Shorts $22 marked down to $10

Isaak also loves his basketball shirt! He's super into that sport. The tan shorts were already his own.

Children's Place Black All Net Tee $10.50 marked down to $5

Isaak did get a pair of pants there were a bit tight. No worries. Wee Blessing gives you 10 days to decide if you want to keep things, or not. They make it really easy to return. I happen to like the style of pants, so we're opting to keep them to give to my nephews.

Urband Pipeline Jogger Pants $40 marked down to $18

While the red shirt wasn't Isaak's favorite, it looks good on him. I like that it has a hood. It will be good for transitional weather. Especially if his jacket doesn't have a hood. The grey slate shorts will go well with a lot of different things. I'm really glad they sent them in the box.

Arizona Jean Co. Red Hooded Tee $22 marked down to $10
Free Planet Slate Gray Performance Shorts $40 marked down to $18

They had the Free Planet Slate Gray Performance Shorts set to go with the Children's Place Black All Net Tee, but we liked it with the shorts with the Arizona Jean Co. Red Hooded Tee better. Somethings are neutral enough that they can go with anything!

Prices:

I really like that they showed the price break downs on everything in the box.

Thank You:

Wee Blessing sent a thank you card. I really liked that extra touch.

Connect With Wee Blessing:

Type in ANAPELADAY for 20% off your first order with Wee Blessing. They have hand picked clothes for women, men, kids, baby, and maternity. It's a win, win!

Have you gotten any clothes for yourself or someone else this back to school season?

Check Out My New #Anklet #Bracelet

I'm super excited to share with you my new anklet or bracelet sold by SISOFTLY: https://www.amazon.com/SISOFTLY-Elephant-Adjustable-Bracelet-multicolor/dp/B07BPLRT6B/ref=sr_1_191?ie=UTF8&qid=1522457789&sr=8-191&keywords=elephant+bracelet

Colors:
  • I got turquoise to review $10.99
  • They have red $10.99
  • They have white with lots of other colors $9.99
I really liked any of the colors. I wear a lot of red, but decided that turquoise is a little different. I have a few shirts it will go with, so I went with it. I'm happy with the result.

Adjustable:

There are 3 beans to clasp it. I kind of wish there were a few more. I clasped it all the way for a bracelet and on the loosest one to wear it as an anklet.

I have a medium sized wrist, and skinny ankles. I felt like it was a bit loose on my wrist, and a just right on my ankle. I wondered, what if someone has thick ankles unlike mine? Then this may not fit them.

Beads

I love the elephants. There is also gold hearts.

The beads do jingle when I walk. It's kind of neat sounding, but it could be annoying to others. People certainly know I'm coming down the hallway.

The beads are lightweight, which is great. I didn't want a heavy thing on my wrist or ankle.

Overall I like the fashion of this! I think I'll wear it as an anklet more than a bracelet. I just hate typing with bracelets on.

Disclaimer: I got this product for a discount to help with this review. The company in no way told me what to write. I only review things that I find benefit myself, my family, or that my readers will find interesting.

HICKIES Review

HICKIES are no tie elastic shoelaces. They are great for running, hiking, or sports because you won't have to stop what you're doing to tie your shoes.

Kids are Hard on Shoelaces:

Isaak in particular is horrible on the knees of his pants, and shoelaces. He's just the typical boy with clothing. Mica never was a rough and tumble kid. At least Mica was born first, and his clothes can get handed down. I'm always saying, "Isaak get up and walk on your feet, not your knees." and "Isaak tie your shoes!" I really hate when he's playing basketball and his shoes are untied.

If you're like me, and you get after your kids for needing to tie their shoes everyday before they step out of the house, you'll want to try HICKIES.

Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-walk or run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-ons that are perfect for any activity from a small activity to a rugged workout.

A Great Stocking Stuffer:

HICKIES sent me a set of kids and adult HICKIES. They work great for Stocking Stuffers for Christmas time.

One set is for kids and the other is for adults. I have to be honest that I don't know if Isaak will wear them. They have pink, which he does like pink, but with his age he may see them to be too girly.

Mica is in men's shoes, so the grey pair could go to him.

I had a a problem with the HICKIES in my own shoes. All my shoes have metal clasps that the laces go in. The HICKIES were so loose in them. I had to put them tight just to get pictures for the review.

I feel kind of bummed that the kid ones won't work for Isaak, and even more bummed that the adult ones won't work in my shoes because of how my shoes have the metal things in there for the laces.

They were easy to put in, but no way to tighten them if needed.

They make it look like they fit so well! Maybe they would fit great in Mica's shoes.

https://www.hickies.com/ Features:
  • One size fits all.
  • Elastic material keeps shoes secure and comfortable.
Never tie again! Play uninterrupted. Fun look, without messy knots and bows. Adjustable tightness. Quick and easy - simply slip on and off.

Women's Casual Tunic Review

Recently I got Zevrez Women's Casual Tunic Pullover Floral Long Sleeve Crewneck Sweatshirt Grey Dress to review: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075NH6YZN?th=1&psc=1 I do think it's way to short to wear as a dress! I do love how it could be worn dressy or casual.

Oh ya and I got my new glasses. I've been wearing them a lot because right before I got them on Thursday night, I got my first stye in my lower eyelid too. :( Glasses kind of cover up eye flaws. :) I didn't know what it was, but all the nurses in my family informed me that it was a stye and how to treat it: Hot compacts and over the counter stye med. It doesn't surprise me that I got one. Stress is a big factor, and it was midterm time last week. Then pollen has been high here. I'm sure I've been itching my eyes without even thinking about it.

Detail of Sleeve:

Material and Care:

  • It's made with a polyester fiber.

  • The fabric is soft. I don't know if it will get less soft over time. It seems like many sweatshirts do get less soft the more they are washed.
  • The fabric is breathable. I wore it this weekend. It was one of those fall days that started off cold, and got increasingly hotter as the day wore on. Thankfully the shirt is breathable.
  • The material has good elasticity. I could move around without any problems.
  • It says in the Amazon description that it's easy to wash, yet the tag said to hand wash. That's hardly easy to wash in my book. I hardly hand wash anything anymore. Since I went to the zoo, I felt it needed to be washed. I turned it inside out, washed it in cold, and hung dried it. So far it's in tact. The flowers may fall off in time. That would be the first things that would go ware wise.
  • It can be worn for dressy events or casual events.

Cost and Sizes:

  • Small - $15.98
  • Medium - $19.98
  • Large - $19.98
  • Extra Large - $19.98

I'm not sure why a small is a different price. In a store it wouldn't be. It did say in the Amazon description that 6 sizes were available. I didn't see 6 offered though.

Would you wear this as a dress? I just think it's way too short! Even if I didn't have it bunched up, I still wouldn't wear it that way. I love the style as a dressed up or down sweat shirt!

Zevrez Women's Long Sleeve V-Neck Dress

I'm super excited to share with you Zevrez Women's Long Sleeve V-Neck Dress: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0753DP2K9.

I love the V neck, the polyester fabric, the fact that it goes below my knees, and that it can be worn for dress, or casual events.

Sizes:

Small - Shoulder: 14.96″ Sleeve: 24.4″ Bust: 36.6″ Waist: 34.6″ Total Length: 42.5″
Medium - Shoulder: 15.35″ Sleeve: 24.4″ Bust: 38.2″ Waist: 36.2″ Total Length: 42.5″
Large - Shoulder: 15.78″ Sleeve: 24.4″ Bust: 39.8″ Waist: 37.8″ Total Length: 42.7″
XL - Shoulder: 16.14″ Sleeve: 24.4″ Bust: 41.3″ Waist: 39.4″ Total Length: 42.7″
XXL - Shoulder: 16.35″ Sleeve: 24.8″ Bust: 42.9″ Waist: 40.9″ Total Length: 42.9″

I got the large, and it fit great! Sometimes when I get things online, I'm a bit nervous as to how it's going to fit.

There wasn't a whole lot of cleavage that showed, but I was ok with that. In the image online more cleavage shows. I was expecting the boys to see that, and point it out right away. It's good it's sleek, yet not too much.

About the only things that I didn't like were not the dresses fault. My legs are super white because they are covered most of the time. Ha! I do need to loose some weight. That's a thing. I'm glad I can finally be active. For months last school year it was asthma attack after asthma attack. I couldn't even climb stairs without feeling winded that's how bad it was. Then after my nose surgery I was told not to do anything. I couldn't even bend over. It feels good to now go hiking, and be active with my boys. I hope to get into a routine, and that will help the pounds go off.

Cost:

$13.88 to $18.88. The small is $13.88, and the rest of the sizes are $18.88. Quite a price change. It is on Prime, so there's free shipping. Really $18.88 is a great price for a dress!

Usually I'm more of a skirt person, but I do love this dress. What about you? What do you like to wear to when you dress up?
