#truckerhat #Alaskastyle Hat Review

I've reviewed hats before from CacheAlaska, and we have not been disappointed with any of them. That includes the one I'm about to show you.

Ok so we did run into one hiccup:

Mica and Travis fought over the hat. I gave Mica the hat first, and he said, "What are these odd things sticking out of the hat?" It was his hair coming out of the mesh. LOL! That's how little he wears hats. He used to be into them, but considering that kids can't wear hats to school he just got away from wearing them all together. Travis said, "That's a pretty cool hat. I like it better than the one I already have by them." Wink Wink! Travis' birthday is coming up, so I yanked it from Mica to give to Travis.

It's a loved hat! Travis likes charcoal grey + black, which are the hats colors.

Snapback:

We do have a problem of having too small of heads in our family. It's like the opposite problem than my sister Terra's family has had. They've had to go measure all their heads when their boy's were babies to make sure there was nothing wrong with their melon heads. Ha! It was crazy getting shirts off her boy's heads too! Then there's us...tiny head people. Hats rarely fit my head.

It's ok because this hat is adjustable like every ball cap should be!

Outdoor Activity:

It's great to wear this hat while camping, hiking, watching ball games, doing yard work and more. This kind of hat doesn't cover your ears, but it has a wide brim that shades the face!

Where to Get This Hat:

Amazon has it for $12.97. If you don't like this one, they have a camo option as well. Shipping was super quick! https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=trucker+hat+cachealaska&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Atrucker+hat+cachealaska

#cachealaska Baseball Hat Reveiw

I love hats, just not on me. I have a super skinny head. I feel like they look good on most everyone else though. Are you a hat person?

I got #cachealaska Baseball Hat to review. It looks wonderful on Travis and Mica. Not so wonderful on me, or Isaak. It's our skinny heads I tell ya!

It's a stylish #flatbrimhat #alaskastyle that is meant for the outdoors. Get out and do something! I think it has a trendy look to it. I could see skateboarders loving this hat. Quite possibly I've been working at an art school for too long to know what skateboarders like to wear. It's also just a hip, cool hat!

About CacheAlaska Baseball Hat:

  • It's a flat brim hat
  • It has a lot of shade for outdoors
  • It’s unisex
  • The material 100% cotton
  • Spot clean only
  • It's easy to adjust

Where to Get This Hat:

You can get it on Amazon Prime for $14.99. Get it here: https://www.amazon.com/CacheAlaska-Panel-Hat-Baseball-Snapback/dp/B01DJN6H9C/ref=sr_1_247?ie=UTF8&qid=1519853351&sr=8-247&keywords=flat+brim+hat

Beanie Black Knit Ski Hat #alaskastyle Review

We got two hats to review from CacheAlaska. This is our 2nd favorite. See the previous post to see our favorite.

This hat is warm, but it hugs the head. We have small heads in our house. I can't imagine how this would work on my sister's family. They all have big heads!

Colors:
  • Charcoal Grey
  • Army Green
  • Brown
  • Navy Blue
  • Black
Black is a great color because it goes with nearly everything! They sell quite a few colors in this style. It's nice to have all the options!

I got him to laugh, then we couldn't stop laughing!

Cost:

$14.99 for the regular to $22.99 for the large on Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/Beanie-Black-Knit-Ski-Hat/dp/B01EXRO9SY/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1499534134&sr=8-17&keywords=beanie&th=1&psc=1

I'd like to have the large to see how it feels next to the regular. Like I said, we have small heads. The regular was tight for sure. Most people should spend the extra cash to get the large.

Material:

50% Acrylic
50% Wool

The hat seems soft. My husband likes the material. It has a fleece band around it to hold the warmth in.

Wear:
  • Wear it in the cold: Hiking, Fishing, Running, Walking, Hunting and more
  • Women or men
I have to say that I'm not a hat person myself, but I love them on other people. Do you wear hats?

#CacheAlaska #Beanie #AlaskaStyle Review

We got two hats to review from CacheAlaska. This by far is our favorite one. We just like the way it fits. It really fits over the head and neck.

Colors:
  • Grey
  • Black
Call me crazy, but I like how the grey hat goes with his grey beard. Ha! Possibly to sell more they could sell a variety of colors. I'd love to see: Brown, Red, Tan, Olive Green, and Navy. I think most people have enough clothes that go with those colors.

Cost:

$11.99 on Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/CacheAlaska-Slouchy-Beanie-Skull-Premium/dp/B071YCCHMD/ref=sr_1_167?ie=UTF8&qid=1507564260&sr=8-167&keywords=beanie

I felt like the cost was reasonable for sure! I was thinking we needed a lot of hats around here with Mica taking the bus, but it's been so warm in Nebraska. It has only flurried once! Usually we've had a few couple big snows.

Material:

Acrylic

The hat seems soft. My husband likes the material.

Wear:
  • Cuffed and Uncuffed
  • Any Season, Anywhere
  • Women or men
He only wore it uncuffed, and liked it that way. He felt like it kept him warm due to the fact that it covered his whole head, and the back of his neck. He liked that it was comfortable too!

We really like this hat! I have to say that I'm not a hat person myself, but I love them on other people. Do you wear hats?

Halloween Witch Hat Review

I love Halloween. Actually I like all holidays. I just think they are fun.

Since I work at an art college students really get into dressing up. Artists love to make things, so maybe that's why they get into dressing up so much.

I tend to work with what I have to create a costume that's unique. I think this year I'm going to be Pac-Man. I have yellow face paint for my face, a yellow swim cap to make my head look round, and I've been punching out lots of dots and cut out ghosts out of colored vellum with sticky backs.

All throughout this month I'm going to wear a Witches Hathttp://www.sdsaena.com/Sdsaena-Women-s-Luxury-17-5-High-Halloween-Witch-Hat-Adult-Set-of-3-p333505.html during lecture. How fun that will be!

I think my work even has an old broom I can carry into class with me. The students will love it!

Material:

This hat is pretty comfortable. It a polyester fabric, and can be hand washed.

The hat can hold its shape pretty well. I like it bent down too.

Colors:

  • I got purple with black to review.

  • It also comes with orange and black.

  • Then there's a black matte color with black lace.

I really like all the above colors. I'm certainly satisfied with the color I got to review.

Details:

  • A lot of lace.

  • A flower with a bow.

  • A big spider!

Cost:

It's kind of pricey for an accessory: $39.90, but get this the set comes with not 1, not 2, but 3 hats!

I have 2 hats I get to share with my sisters.

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Disclaimer: I got three witch hats in exchange for an honest review. This company didn't influence my review. I only review products I think will fit my family, or my readers.

Beanie Knit Skull Cap Review

Mica is outside in the cold for safety patrol. He likes the Beanie Knit Skull Cap style. We got a wool blend ski hat. It's designed by: CacheAlaska.

It's Made For Women and Men:

At first I wanted to give this to Travis. The one size hat didn't fit him very well. It seemed too tight. Travis' head isn't big, so I'd order a large for most men or women. One size and Large are the only 2 sizes that they have. The one size is more for tweens. It fits Mica perfectly.

Colors:

  • Charcoal Grey (Like we got)
  • Army Green
  • Black
  • Brown
  • Navy Blue

They are all pretty neutral colors that work with anything.

Material:

It's 50/50 Wool/Acrylic. The material is designed in such a way that the hat makes a person stay warm even if it's wet. That's amazing to me.

It's fleece line on the headband part of the hat. This keeps it comfortable and breathable.

When to Wear This Hat:

  • On Safety Patrol
  • Sledding
  • Skiing
  • Hiking
  • Walking
  • Running
  • Ice Fishing
  • Ice Skating

Many more places and things to do when it's cold.

Cost:

$10.49 to $29.99 - Depends on the size and color. This hat was on the lower range.

Do you wear hats? I stick to ear muffs because hoods are too big for my small head, and hats mess up my hair.

Disclaimer: I received Beanie Knit Skull Cap to review. I wrote this post, and was not influenced at all with an opinion. I only review things that I find interesting, or that would benefit my readers or family.

WW: Hat to the Side {Linky}

We went to the zoo this last weekend. I asked my oldest son Mica, "Can you please stand here, so I can get your picture?" This is what I got:

Mica looks like a skater kid. That's not his personality at all.

Since Mica had his hat off to the side Isaak thought he'd put his hat on that way as well:

The hat off to the side really looks odd on Isaak. It cracks me up that whenever Isaak wants his photo taken he crossed his arms like he's praying that I get a good photo of him.

My boys rarely wear a hat, since they can't have one on in school. Do you wear hats often?

Our zoo is the one that made national headlines. There was a lady that sneaked in, to pet a tiger. She got her hand bit, and has to have a few surgeries. We didn't pet a tiger. Just a shark. ;)

Black Derby Hat (Unisex) Review

I have 2 sons that still like to dress up. Not in dresses. In superhero outfits, masks, and funky hats. I got a Black Derby Hat (Unisex) to Review. I think Mica will enjoy it. He loves looking sharp.

It's one size fits all. This hat does fit Isaak and I. I didn't try it on Mica because I want it to be a surprise. Just a note: Our family has smallish heads. I just know this because my sister's family has melon heads. If your head size is bigger this hat may fit you differently than it does us.

The hat is not the most comfortable hat. It just feels inexpensive. It's $8.99. They would make great party favors! I do like that it can be used for a lot of different dress up outfits.

You can dress it up with a nice shirt and pants, or dress it down with jeans and a t-shirt. It reminds me of the hat Johnny Depp wore in Benny and Joon.

I think Mica will enjoy the hat.

WW: Amtrak {Linky}

Mica was focused on what was outside the window.
Isaak always colors with all the colors.
Snack time!
The Junior Conductor hat made Isaak happy!
Of course Mica loved his hat as well!
