#TecEssence 3D Moon Light Review

Christmas is coming up!

It's sooner than I anticipated. It’s going to be an odd one.

We can’t get together as a big family because of COVID. It’s hard because my sister has two kids with trisomy 18. Their immune systems are fragile. Instead we'll take turns having my parents over to each house.

I’m still looking for jobs. I have two in the fire, but still looking out there. So many things are seasonal, or part time. It’s harder work to look for jobs, then it is to work I think. I've been looking for a few years now. It's exhausting. I just want to work, come home, and blog, paint, design, or hold Sunny. Money is tighter.

The boys are getting older, so buying for them is more challenging. They just got their rooms done. What do I get the that they need or want? I thought about rugs and new overhead lights. They could always use another remote, or headset, for their PS4, that we have them play on only once a week. I got the boys and some of my nephews KEEN insulated thermoses 30% off at work, then 15% off from my discount. I did the same with honey sticks, pistachios, and chapstick. How exciting! *Insert sarcasm here. Holidays are different when they are older.

I'd love to give them a trip, but again...COVID strikes. Let's be honest...they could care less about clothes these days.

One Holiday Idea:

I found Mica a little light to go in his room. It will fit well with his space theme. This 3D #TecEssence Moon Light changes colors. It’s smaller than I thought. Just big enough to fit in ones hands.

You can get it here: https://tecessence.com/collections/all-lights/products/nebula-galaxy-lamp%E2%84%A2, for $39.99. I think that's way too high of a price, for this lamp. I'd be willing to pay $15, for it. It took awhile to ship, wasn't big, the base didn't come put together, it's 3D printed plastic, and I still haven't been able to get the remote battery section to come off without breaking it. It's stubborn.

It lights up with a USB cord. It has different modes. I like the top picture mode best.

There's a purple mode.

There's a blue mode.

Then there's a red mode.

I did have trouble with getting the remote to work, and open it.

I actually changed the colors by touching the lamp its self when it was on the USB cord.

I just can't get it apart! I feel like I'm going to break it. I've pressed on the release, and pulled, I pulled, after doing the a few times I gave up. Travis hasn't tried. It would be best to get it to work, for all the options.

What are you getting for your kids, or grandkids for Christmas?

Disclaimer: I got this product for a discounted price, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Night Light | Lantern for Kids Review

This Night Light | Lantern for kids is so cute!

Color Modes:

  1. Yellow
  2. Orange
  3. Purple
  4. Red
  5. Blue
  6. Green
  7. Yellow-Green

It does have a rechargeable cord for the light.

Song:

It plays Happy Birthday. I kind of wish it played just as many song sections as it does colors. I can see where kids will like it though.

Plastic:

I haven't taken the plastic off the inside just yet, but did on the outside. I was kind of nervous to take it off. You have to tear the thing apart to remove it.

Gift:

This makes a great gift. I'm actually going to give it to my nephew Edison with some kid's play camping gear. I think it will make a good gift. Although I feel like I need to give it to him for his birthday, since that's what it plays.

It has cute little birds inside it.

Where to Get it:

On Amazon for $21.99 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076MSXQS9

What animals would you put inside this? Or would you put something entirely different? I could see red mushrooms and gnomes.

Disclaimer: I got this in exchange for review. The opinions in this post are my own.

3DLIGHTFX Review

I'm super excited to share with you 3DLIGHTFX. Mica picked out the Star Wars BB-8. They are super fun! I've never seen a light like them. They look like they are crashing through the wall. The features I like art that they don't have any cords hanging down, and the crack sticker that comes with it.

If you're not a Star Wars buff they have a lot of other options:
  • Marvel
  • WB
  • Nick
  • Cars/Jet
  • Sports
  • Hasbro
  • Disney
  • Nature
  • Universal
I know my boys would like their Marvel options as well. The different lights vary in cost. The BB-8 is $39.99.

They are sold at Target http://bit.ly/TargetUSFamily and Target.com.

It was packaged really well. A slide in mold inside a box. A shipping box outside that.

A Great Gift:

We haven't put it up in his room just yet because it's a Christmas present. It's great for: Children, Teens, Adults, Boys, or Girls.

3DLIGHTFX are meant to serve the purpose to be a night light. I'm not so sure that it's that effective as a night light. It doesn't put out very much light, and it's really big size wise to be a night light.

I think it works more for room decor. It's just cool looking.

Sticker:

The sticker has instructions to put it on the wall. It's clear, so it will fit on any wall. Once it's up, it's up. You can't move it around. I think it would look cool even without the sticker.

Battery Operated:

I kind of wish they had 2 options when buying this - battery operated and cord operated. I understand that they don't want kids pulling on the cord. Cords also take away visually from the design. I don't like the idea of going through batteries when using this. Keep in mind that you can use rechargeable batteries. This product is like most, and does not come with batteries.

They are also cool to the touch, which makes it safer.

Easy to Hang:

Each light comes with the sticker that I already mentioned. It also comes with a hanging set, and notches in the back of the light, so it stays up on the the wall.

Mica's super excited to get the BB-8 he picked out!

Multi-Function LED Headlamp For Handsfree Lighting Review

I love Headlamps. If the lights go out I'm prepared. If Dad goes to work on something in the garage, and doesn't have proper lighting to get the job done he's prepared.

You could even keep a headlamp in your car for emergency purposes. On road trips I'll do just that.

This is a Multi-Function LED Headlamp for hands-free, bright lighting

Cost: $29.97, on sale for $17.99.

Why struggle to hold a flashlight while you need both hands to perform the task at hand? How much easier would tasks, walks or jogs at night be with two free hands?

I have a small head, and I love that I can control the size of the straps.

Multi-Function Headlamp Perfect For Practical Things And Provides Safety & Security
  • Camping, running, hiking, caving, fishing, biking and other outdoor sports. We'll for sure use it for camping this summer.
  • Night reading, late night bed checks, task lighting inside a vehicle. Mica already uses his head lamp for night time reading. Now I can to.
  • Search-and-rescue scenarios and night time medical emergency. Perfect for people that go biking!
  • Plumbing, electrical, construction, other household work and professional use.
  • Automotive roadside safety, auto repair and more. This is great to take on road trips.
  • Power-outage convenience and home security.

Your Up-Close Detail Work And Long-Distance Viewing Is Now A Breeze
  • 4 Light Modes: 2 LED - 4 LED - 8 LED - 2 Red LED - OFF.
  • 2 LED (Power Save) - 10 Lumens that shine up to 65 feet (20 meter).
  • 4 LED (Bright) - 20 Lumens that shine up to 98 feet (30 meter).
  • 8 LED (Ultra Bright) - 30 Lumens that shine up to 164 feet (50 meter).
  • STEADY Red LED (No annoying flashing red light as with other headlamps). This is my favorite mode.
  • Red LED light ideal for reading, preserving night vision, and for not disturbing others.

The boys got headlamps for Christmas. It was a hot item. They've worn them so much! Mica asked if he could trade head lamps with me. I said, "Absolutely not!" His doesn't have the many modes mine does. I can just see it now - he and Isaak would fight over who gets my headlamp. It's mine. Only Dad can share.

The company didn't mention that it's just plain fun! Boys love indoor camping. I love playing along with them.

Your Life Made More Comfortable With The Ultimate Lightweight & Compact Headlamp
  • Easy-to-use single button control. It is easy. I even let Mica try my light on. He had no problem adjusting the button to change modes.
  • Easily adjustable elastic headband helps secure the light to any head size and avoid “brainsqueeze.” This is easy to. I still need to tighten it a little more.
  • Weighs 2.95oz, so no “bobbing” around. I forget it's on sometimes.
  • Small, portable, easy to carry anywhere, and fits around head, hat, helmet, bike or belt.
  • Long LED lifetime up to 20,000 hours; no need to change the LEDs.
  • Save time and money on batteries since LED lights last much longer then regular light bulbs.
So easy to control - even a kid can control it. It's still mine. :)

Instantly Improve Your Visibility With Our Powerful LED Headlamp
  • Sturdy headlamp body tilts up to 90-degrees, allowing you to focus light as needed..
  • Once the beam is in your preferred position, you can be sure that it will stay there.
  • Shock-resistant, toughened ultra-strong glass lens with AR coating.
  • Powered by 3x AAA Batteries. I love that it comes with the batteries!
  • Up to 16 hours of battery life (using Power Save mode).
  • It also come with with a PDF book on 7 ways to use your Multi-Function LED Headlamp.

This hands-free flashlight is ideal for your toolbox, emergency kit in home or car.

Do you have a head lamp?
