AncordWorks Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Review

An AncordWorks Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker is a great Father’s Day gift idea, or even a gift for a tween or teen that’s super into music. I know Mica loves his speaker!

Where to Get it:

Get it on Amazon Prime https://www.amazon.com/AncordWorks-Waterproof-Bluetooth-Resistance-Portable/dp/B07CH9FRYS rel="nofollow" for $25.99

Color:

It only comes in orange. I like orange, but it would be nice if it did come in a handful of colors for people to choose from.

Other Colors I'd Like to See This Come In:

Blue, Red, Army Green, and Black. What color would you like to see it come in?

Waterproof:

All the buttons are coated in a hard rubber. They have a picture where it's being splashed in a puddle of water. I wouldn't dip it in a pool, but you can have it in the bathroom, while you're taking a shower, on the side of the pool where drops of water are being splashed up on it, and outside under a covered patio.

I just think the speaker its self will last longer if it's not being submerged in water.

Bluetooth:

It is bluetooth. It took Mica 2 minutes to figure it out. His phone synced up to it fast! It does come with cords if you have an older device.

I typically get speakers to hold on to for future presents. Kids that are Mica and Isaak's ages have smart phones, and get into music, or Mine Craft videos. Getting them a speaker to pair up with their phone is a great gift.

Disclaimer: I got this product for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. I only agree to review things my family, or readers will like, or use. All opinions are my own.

Swimming

Isaak turns five on May 19. A lot of people think he's older than he is. It's just because he's tall. Trust me he doesn't act older than he is.

Although he swims better than most of the kids his age.

He can swim backstroke, doggie paddle, freestyle, underwater, and do somersaults in the water.

He still needs to work on speed and breathing. Not too shabby for only being four though.

Yesterday We Had to Get Out of the Pool

Isaak and I went to go swimming at the Y last night. Isaak was throwing a ball back and forth with me. Then he accidentally hit a guy in the head with the ball.

The poor guy had a look of slight anguish on his face.

I know Isaak didn't mean to hit the guy. He just doesn't have very good aim.

I said, "Isaak you need to apologize."

Silence...

I said, "Isaak I know you didn't mean to hit him in the head with the ball, but you still need to apologize."

Silence...

I said, "Isaak if you don't apologize we are getting out of the pool."

Silence...

I apologized to the guy and his father. Did I mention that the guy is mentally challenged. That made the situation harder for me. Harder to communicate, harder for him to understand that a 4 year old didn't mean to hit him.

Then we got out.

I explained to Isaak that we didn't get out because he accidentally hit the guy in the head with a ball. We got out because he refused to apologize. I went on to say, "You have to apologize if you hurt someone; even if you didn't mean to hurt them."

I know Isaak is shy when it comes to strangers. He's the type of kid that doesn't want to play on the playground if he doesn't know anyone else playing.

Pool

Daddy had to work at the gallery where his work is at tonight. He did find out that he sold a $50 sketch.

I wanted to take the boys swimming at the YMCA. Earlier I kept thinking about how I was going to take them by myself?" The thing is, Mica is too young to go through the men's locker area and do everything himself. He's also getting too old and aware of nudity to go through the women's locker area with me.

Isaak didn't have a nap, so he was really testy. I was thinking about skipping the pool idea all together. Instead I decided to go.

I asked the front desk if they had a family room that lead into the pool? They do, but it's inside the women's locker area. I was thinking, "Ok!!"

I just lead my son through the women's locker area with a towel over his head - Michael Jackson style. Some lady looked at me odd. I said, "Hey he's a 6 year old boy; I didn't know what else to do!"

We shower and go to head in and the door was locked to get into the pool. Again I was like, "OK!!"

I have the boy's step back in the warm shower. We try again in 5 minutes and it was open.

We swam for 15 to 20 minutes. Then a lifeguard comes up and says, "We have to close down the pool; the chlorine levels are too high." Again I was thinking, "OK!!" Why didn't they test it before all the families got in is beyond me!

Out we go to get dressed once again. Mica leaves with a towel over his head again. I wanted to call him, "Blanket."

Then we had to go home to shower, get pjs on and go to bed.
