Women's Real Natural Filigree Leaf Long Pendant Necklace & Earring Set Review

These Natural Filigree Leaf Gold-Tone Necklace and Earring Set is so pretty!

I know I'm especially going to love it when it's fall time.

Buying Options:

It comes in 20 different buying options.

Some options include the same set just different colors: Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Antique Cooper, and Iridescent

Other options include different types of leaves: Aspen, Bodhi, Ginkgo, and Maple

I really love the Aspen and Ginkgo!

Pick Your Set Up Here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LW40723 for $14.99. They are on Amazon Prime, so shipping is free. They did ship to me really fast! If you need to get something for Valentines Day, this is a great option.

Not all the prices are the same because they offer different things.

Earrings:

They are bigger than I imagined, but super light weight! Around 1 1/2" long.

Pendent or Necklace:

I call everything around my neck a necklace. What do you call it?

The chain is 20" long, so it hangs down quite a ways.

I do like that it's a fun bohemian style.

Sewing Leather Tools Review

I tend to look for arts and crafts that are great for boys. There just isn't a lot out there. Most of them are geared towards girls.

I was so happy that I got a Sewing Leather Tool Set to review: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XDMB7H5! It's something Isaak will love for Christmas coming up. I'm going to get him a leather belt to work on.

15 Pieces Included:

I was thinking it would be a small kit with a few things. Nope! It's really full of stuff!
  • All different needles: glovers needle, carpet needle, sail needle, straight upholstery needle, sack needle and 2 pieces of curved mattress needles
  • 3 Colors Flat Wax Rope: Black, Burnt Umber and Raw Siena
  • 1 x Adjustable Stitching Groover
  • 1 x Black pressure cloth tooth distance of 4 mm
  • 1 x Log pressure cloth tooth distance of 2 mm
  • 1 x Solid wood awl 1 x Straight head awl
  • 1 x Hook the awl
  • 1 x Hollow awl
  • 1 x Scissors
  • 1 x Thimble
  • 1 x Beeswax
  • 2 x Finger cots
It also comes with a bag to fit the tools.

The whole set costs: $18.29 on Amazon Prime.

I think it's a great set for a beginner. Of course I'll help him figure it all out.

There are no metal stamps, but there's a variety of tools to make letters, or patters on your own. Certainly enough for personalizing your leather projects.

Would you buy someone a belt to begin using these tools, or just a slab of leather?

Sewing Kit Review

I've been incorporating sewing into my artwork. It just adds another media that one would usually see in a painting/mixed media piece.

Recently I got a 100 Piece Sewing Kit by Ebeauty to review:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N109DM0/ie=UTF8?keywords=Sewing+Kit. I love all the new fun colors in it.

What Does it Include:
  • 32 Small Reel of Threads
  • 32 Bigger Reel of Threads
  • A Small Scissors - This is the one thing I wish wasn't in the kit. They were hard to use, and made poorly. They bent up after the first time I used them.
  • A Plastic Measuring Tape
  • 2 Plastic Thimbles
  • Needles
  • 2 Threaders
  • A Storage Box - To me this isn't the high area of the set. There isn't a lid for the "box". I think it's more like a tray.

Thread material:
  • Polyester
  • It's Both Durable and Strong
  • Suitable for a Sewing Machine
  • Suitable for Hand Stitching
What I Used the Thread For:
I'm working on a mixed media piece about captivity. I sewed the Mocking Bird and the Girl's hair. I still need to do the cuckoo clock. That too will have sewing in it.

Cost:

Only $9.99 with Prime, which is such a great deal!

The Biggest Thing I'm Excited About:

Is all the colors!

Do you like to sew?

CubeCraft 12 x 27ml Acrylic Paint Set {Review}

Acrylics are my favorite paint medium. I like to mix things with them, and with other paint mediums I find what you can mix with them to be limited.

I got an Acrylic Paint Set from CubeCraft to review.

I really like the variety of colors!
These colors are featured in order starting with white and going counter clockwise.

  • Chinese White
  • Primary Lemon Yellow
  • Yellow Ochre
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Burnt Umber
  • Ivory Black
  • Cobalt Violet
  • Cobalt Blue
  • Cerulean Blue
  • English Light Green
  • Alizarin Crimson
  • Primary Red Cadmium

The paint is ASTM D-4236 certified, which means it's independently certified as non-toxic, and safe for use and it is odorless. This would be a great set for kids, or people that suffer from allergies or asthma.

It doesn't say, but the paints seem student grade. They are not heavy bodied acrylics. I like this type of paint to make washes, and to mix in with my other mediums. You can see how easily the paint squirts out.

They are pretty big tubes of paint. They are 27ml, with is more than most tubes.

I'm pretty hesitant to show 1/2 done work, but I've been working on a painting. I'm trying out something new. I put different kinds of salt down on a layer of Elmer's glue. Painted with washes on top, and now I'm sewing in the lines. I still have a lot to do, but here's a start after using some of these paints:

As you can see I have to sew the vertical lines into the igloo. I didn't even show all of it. The igloo is sitting on polar icecaps that are melting. I have yet to decide if I want to include a polar bear in the background, on top of the igloo, or trying to swim amongst the melted water. Decisions! How would you finish it up?

The white in the painting is the glue and salt. The rest is paint.

The cost of the acrylic set:

$26.95 and it's on sale for $16.95. You can get the set on Amazon. It comes with 12 tubes of colored paint, and 1 small pallet.

Disclaimer: I received this paint set at a discount for the purpose of this review. The opinions are 100% mine.

6 Piece Bamboo Kitchen Utensils Set Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I'm on a mission to get rid of plastic. I've read so many bad things about plastic. Some of the chemicals companies are using to replace BPA are worse than BPA. Metal is nice, but it scratches pans. I jumped at the chance to review a 6 piece Bamboo Kitchen Utensils Set. We have a bamboo cutting board set, and I just love it. I knew I'd love a utensil set just the same.

There's nothing worse than buying a new kitchen utensil set only to find out the tools are made from low quality materials that only break and become useless in a few weeks. That has happened to me before. I'm happy to say that the 6 piece Bamboo Kitchen Utensil Set is not going to break!

Benefits of Bamboo Styles 6-Piece Kitchen Utensil Set
  • Durable Moso Bamboo
  • 15% Stronger than Maple and 33% Lighter than Oak
  • Easy to Clean & Maintain
  • Natural Bamboo with No Dyes or Colors

  • Doesn't Scratch Pans and Pots

  • It's not expensive! It's $15.97, and on sale for $9.49.
The Set Came With:

Single Hole Spoon and Spoon

Fork and Slotted Spoon

Slotted Spatula and Spatula

I Decided to Cook up Some Veggies:

Zucchini, squash, and a little bit of tomato. I used my new bamboo fork to break up the veggies, and keep them cooking.

It worked like a charm, and cleaned up great!

Fish, Broccoli and Veggie Mix

Do you want something that won't hurt the environment?

This ensures they contain no nasty chemicals, so that you can be confident in serving your family and friends a meal that is purely your own ingredients.
