Isaak lost another tooth. Now he has a top and bottom tooth that are out in the same spot. It just looks so funny, and cute seeing his big gap.
He was super excited last week because he was one of the only kids in his swimming lessons to touch the bottom of the deep end. His coach said to me, "Isaak's ready to move up." I said, "I think we're just going to keep him here because he's happy, and is still pretty young. The other lesson up was just too much for this little guy." We're going to take a swimming lesson break for a bit. Isaak's starting jiu-jitsu next month. We'll go back to swimming, just not right now.
Here's my blurry little swimmer with a big gap smile on his face.

A Littly Fairy Dust
Isaak was really excited to show me his sticker and missing gap in his teeth 2 days ago. :)
I got the idea to make a dollar bill all sparkly from Theresa's Mixed Nuts. Thank you Theresa!
I think it is Isaak's third tooth lost. I'm not counting. I thought it would be fun to add fairy dust to a dollar bill. I just used a glitter glue pen.
I don't think I'll do this with all his teeth. Mica may get further jealous. Because the Tooth Fairy never did that for him. When in fact the Tooth Fairy never thought about it for him.

It was cold this morning. Isaak didn't want to be outside. I got more crying photos, which was opposite about how he felt with his Fairy Dusted Dollar Bill. He hated this shot, but I think it's funny.
He liked this photo though.

Christmas Eve
Isaak woke up from his nap cherry. It's as if he didn't get sick at 1 AM. Daddy and Isaak were able to meet up at Aunt Terra's with us. Then I found out Grandpa Spiehs was sick. :( He had to miss all of Christmas Eve. I don't remember a night without him in the picture for a long time.
Hopefully no one else gets sick!
We had 3 or 4 different soups to choose from, shrimp, crackers, cheese and veggies.
Unwrapping presents wasn't a complete mad house. The boys are all now old enough to take care of their wrapping paper and were nice about saying, "Thank you!"
Mica's eyes lit up with a Kre-O Transformer and Cars 2 Lego set.
Isaak's eyes lit up with most everything. He was the slowest to unwrap his gifts. He couldn't understand why he couldn't take things out to play. We do our best to stash stuff away, so it doesn't get mixed up with the paper or other kid's toys. Plus if each toy were to be played with we'd be there until midnight. Isaak seemed most interested in the penguin gift tag that Grandma Spiehs used for the 2nd year in a row. We had a good laugh at that.
I enjoyed all the cousins, except Emerson getting a face plate from us. I try and find different things to get them. Something they can use, have fun with, but isn't always a toy. Emerson got a squeak Teddy Bear and Tree onesie.
I think I liked the red hand mixer gadget the best!
One highlight of the night was when Mica lost his second tooth. I mentioned to him during church that it would be funny if both Santa and the Tooth Fairy had to pay a visit to our house. He was busy wiggling his tooth to try and make that happen.
We had a busy night.
Santa ate some cookies, drank some milk and left the fireplace open AGAIN. This time there is soot on our floor. He's always messy!
Tomorrow we have our own little family Christmas. Then we get to celebrate with extended family on my side.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

WW Mica Moose Lost His First Tooth {Linky}
He lost it on the way down to KC. It's a great thing that mommy remembered to bring his Tooth Fairy box that Aunt Becky bought him! ;) He has another loose tooth. I told him that he can now drink out of a straw without opening his mouth!

Moose Has a Loose Tooth!
Mica {AKA Moose} has his first loose tooth!
I told him that he needs to spit it out into his hands when it's time for it to come out. I sure hope he doesn't swallow it! Then we talked about how it's normal to bleed.
He asked, "Mommy does everyone loose teeth?"
I told him, "Yep."
It is kind of funny because cousin Evan had his first loose tooth last year, the first week of kindergarten. Mica just started kindergarten to.
Mica told me that he has to leave his window open for the tooth fairy to fly through. I told him that, that wasn't necessary. She's so small she can fly through the crack of any door. I was thinking of winter time. Having the window open for a loose tooth wouldn't be practical!
Great Aunt Becky brought Mica over this:
It's a wooden tooth box. The last time she was over she brought Mica his safari set for his birthday. The boy's told her, "Next time bring something else." I said, "Oh no! No! No! It doesn't work that way boys."
Now I need to figure out what the going rate is for the tooth fairy to leave?!?
