Milk Thistle By Superior Labs Review

I have to take a lot of Aspirin still. It really isn't great on my body. If someone is allergic to IBprofen (like I am), they are at high risk for getting polyps back again. A way to treat that is a few years of a lot of Aspirin. Oh joy! I'm trying to take all natural things that help my body out. One thing that helps with toxins is Milk Thistle.

Health Benefits:

  • Supports Toxin Removal
  • Supports Liver Function
  • Powerful Extract
It also helps with allergies. Kind of like taking bee pollen in the area, Milk Thistle is a benefit too.

It has no harmful additives and no dyes. Personally I think many of the dyes we use in the US could be cut out. We use way too many!

It's Made in the USA!

San Diego, CA to be exact. Not a lot of things are made right here in the US, so when they are I take note of it.

One a Day!

Some of the pills I take are 2 a day, or 3 a day. I hate that. I feel like a walking pill popper. With Fish Oil it's 3 a day. Guess what I only take 1. Possibly that's bad, but it can't hurt. With this Milk Thistle it's just 1 a day. I like that so much!

Where to Get it:

https://superiorlabs.com/products/milk-thistle for $23.95.

#fishoil is Great to Take for #dailyessentials #wellness #spoonfulcorp #healthyliving #salmonfishoil

I am usually on some kind of fish oil. It's a natural way to lower cholesterol. Both my Mom and my Day have high cholesterol, and mine tends to be on the higher side as well.

Spoonful Omega-3 Fish Oil is a great brand! Not all fish oils have Omega-3, which is wonderful for the brain!

Where to Get It:

You can pick up a bottle at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FB31WGV. They have three different buying options. A Soft Gel 3 pack is $19.99, a Soft Gel 1 pack is $9.99, and a Enteric 1 pack is $14.99. I got the Soft Gel 1 pack to review.

There are 100 pills in a bottle, but each serving is 3 pills. I wish the serving was just 1 pill.

It's made right here in the US!

How It Came:

It had a foam piece on the top with a layer of foil. Plastic was coated on the lid to help keep the lid from coming off during shipment. It all sees to work. Everything was in tact.

There isn't a lot of waisted space in the bottle like some pills.

I do think it's hard to tell if pills work for a review. There just isn't time to tell if it's working before the review goes up. Fish Oil is great to take regardless.

Have you ever taken Fish Oil?

Vibranelle Milk Thistle Review

Milk Thistle is a plant that is native to Europe and was brought to North America by early colonists.

What does Milk Thistle do for the body?

1. Support natural detox with kidneys and the liver

2. Promote cell growth and regeneration

3. Encourage healthier skin

4. Hormone help

5. Blood sugar balance

6. Promote gallbladder health and prevent gallstones

7. Aid digestion

8. Help calm seasonal allergies

9. Support your kidneys

10. Ease heartburn

Why would I want to take Milk Thistle?

Well I'm on a lot of Aspirin. My cute allergy doctor is trying to build up some meds I'm allergic to, which put me in a high risk category for getting nasal polyps back again. One things that Aspirin does that is harmful is weaken the kidneys. By taking Milk Thistle I'm helping my allergies and detoxing my body naturally.

I've only taken it a day, so I have no idea if it's really helping me or not. That's the difficult thing with vitamins. By reading about it, it should be helping.

Where to get Vibranelle Milk Thistle:

You can get it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0744KJ1VK for $10! That's the sale price, so pick some up!

This Milk Thistle is made in USA, from a FDA registered facility. Assesed to meet GMP standards, which ensures that a product has the strength, composition, quality and purity that appear on the label.

There are 60 tablets in a bottle. The bottle was mostly cotton, so packaging wise, I do with Vibranelle would use smaller bottles for Milk Thistle. They could use the same sized bottle, pack it full of more pills, and up the price. I'd be ok with that as well.

The pills are easy to take. They are about the size of the tip of my pinky finger. I know some people struggle with taking big horse pills. These are small. You only need to take 1 per day. I can't stand when some pills have listed to take 3 a day. Who wants to take 3 pills a day? I like when companies figure out a way to pack all needed things into one pill.

The pills have 450mg Milk Thistle, Standardized Silymarin. Made from Non GMO Seed Extract and powder.

Clean and Detox:

This Milk Thistle helps support healthy Liver, Kidney and Digestive Function. I used to have more digestive problems before I started to eat steamed greens almost every day. When I do have issues it's good to know I'm boosting my immune response; neutralize toxins, along with helping fight cell damaging free radicals in the body. It seems like when I'm feeling off it's hard to get back on the track to feeling good again. I hope this helps.

Nutra Kids Multivitamin Gummy Review

Ever since the boys were able to chew, I've made sure they have a daily vitamin. Both boys have allergies. They don't have them nearly as bad as me - thankfully! Because of allergies I think it's important to make sure they have a daily vitamin to keep their systems strong.

Recently I got Nutra Kids Multivitamin for Isaak to review: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GGGUF7O

About Nutra Kids Multivitamin:
  • The best thing in my opinion is that it's sugar free. Many vitamins on the market are full of sugar.
  • They are gluten free. Gluten turns into sugar inside your body, so this is a perk as well!
  • They are USDA Organic. It's important that companies have gone through the step to be USDA Organic. Anyone can put Organic on a bottle, when it's really not.
  • They are vegan. I'm not vegan, but I have a sister that is. If your needs fit with that, it's certainly a perk to some! They are pectin based, and gelatin free.
  • They are certified GMP. I had to look up what that means. GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice. The importance is that they keep all bottles the same quality, so that they spend just as long on the 200th bottle as they did on the 2nd.
  • They are K Parve, which is Kosher.
  • Favor: Pineapple, Orange and Strawberry.
  • Cost: $12.99, but on sale for $5.99! It is on Prime. There are 60 gummies in a bottle. In the long run it's better for your kids, and cheaper than most multivitamins that you get in the store!

Are Vitamins Necessary?

I've read a lot about if daily vitamins are necessary to take if you eat a balanced diet. I think if they are full of sugar, than they are not worth taking.

Nutra doesn't put crappy ingredients in their products. They certainly do not hurt to take.

I think it's important to have a multivitamin when kids are growing. Vitamins help boost kid's immune systems. It's especially important to boost an immune system if sickness is going around, or if you're like my family that has allergy sufferers. Some kids are picky eaters; vitamins may give them what they may be lacking in their diet. While I do have kids with allergies, I don't have picky eaters thankfully.

Gummies or No Gummies

We're trying to do away with most chewy things. Isaak has a space maintainer in the bottom of his mouth where he was told no chewy things. These are not super chewy like Gummy Bears would be. That's a total perk in my mind. I don't need a piece of vitamin to get caught between Isaak's teeth, or space maintainer. I also don't mind vitamins that can be swallowed or the old school kind that can be chewed, and are not gummy at all. Not all kids can swallow vitamins, so I wouldn't expect a company to make a swallow kind for kids.

When to Make the Transition From a Kid Vitamin to an Adult Vitamin

I often do my own research when it comes to child development. On most kid vitamin bottles it doesn't say what age it goes to. Recently I was looking at Mica and said, "I think it may be time that you start taking an adult vitamin." He weighs 90 pounds, is almost 12, and is getting super tall. Just to make sure this transition was ok I emailed his pediatrician to ask. Sure enough he thought that it is a perfect time for Mica to make the transition from children's vitamins to adult ones. I did see on one website that when kids start hitting puberty they can switch from children's vitamins to adult ones. He's growing up!

Isaak on the other hand still takes a children's vitamin. Nutra Kids Multivitiamin is great for him!

What about you - What vitamins do you take? As for me I take a daily adult vitamin, Acai Flower to lower my cholesterol, vitamin D  only for dark days that never seem to end, and allergy meds right now.

Disclaimer: I received Nutra Kids Multivitamin Gummy in return for writing this post. The store certainly inspired me to write this post. I only review things that I think my family or readers will enjoy, or find useful.

HCF | Happy • Calm • Focused #Giveaway!

I had the wonderful opportunity to review HCF | Happy • Calm • Focused.

$59.95 value
Travis AKA Daddy gets depressed easily. Lately there has been a lot of pressure on him. His titles seem to be growing.
  • He's a dad
  • He's a husband
  • He works at a dental lab
  • He works, and has his sculpture at a cooperative gallery
  • He was accepted to work at a group event for artists called Flock House this month
  • He's responsible to go through applications for an up coming show
  • He's a gardener
There is a ton of stuff on his plate! I could tell a few weeks ago that he was feeling down, and over whelmed with things. He would snap at the little stuff. I noticed that he was becoming more, and more grumpy. He noticed a little bit, but it wasn't on his radar. I was so happy when HCF | Happy • Calm • Focused was brought to our attention! Travis has been taking this for 2 weeks. The first week he took it I noticed a huge change in him!

He's now one of the leaders in the artist group for the Flock House. This is big for him! He's usually not the leader type. He went into the project not knowing anything about it. He didn't know who would be there either. It was intimidating. It's a month long project about creating a habitat that can easily go up and down. They have a strict budget to work with. They gave the groups one hour to come up with a plan. Travis not only came up with the idea, but he built a little moquette to show.

He's not snappy, he's much calm than before, and he is much more focused to get things done.

I've gave him task on Mothers Day, and he jumped to it without complaining.

With HCF you do not feel an unnatural buzz.
