NALEDI Metal Tube Squeezer

I've talked about getting a Metal Tube Squeezer for years. It's kind of an odd thing to want. As an artist I find that I could use one for paint. As a Mother I find that I could use one for toothpaste.

Where to Get the NALEDI Metal Tube Squeezer:

You can get it on Amazon Prime for $12.99 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYN79GL

It comes in a nice box that's a little bigger than a wallet.

What Can This Metal Tube Squeezer Be Used for:

  • Paint Tubes
  • Toothpaste
  • Hand creams
  • Lotions
  • Cosmetics
  • Glues

...and anything else that comes in a tube.

How is it Used?

Put the base of the tube in the squeezer. Hold the two metal sections below tight. Start turning it with your other hand. It squeezes all the stuff in the tube to the top. It leaves no air; making the product last longer.

I pictured it two different ways. I did this on purpose. The top photo below is for left handed people. My Dad is left handed, so when I realized it could be used this way I thought I should point that out. The bottom is for right handed people like me. It's easiest to turn it with your more dominate hand. you just flip it over and can use it whatever way you'd like.

Does Everyone Need a Tube Squeezer:

No, but for me it's certainly handy! It's one of those want items. Not a need item.

I will get more paint or anything out of a tube than I ever would without the metal tube squeezer. To me that's worth it. I don't like to waist things at all!

I can use it on paint in the classroom, and at home on toothpaste. Isaak get to the bottom of the toothpaste tube, and has to have us help him every time.

Could you use a metal tube squeezer? What would you use it for?

Disclaimer: We got this product in exchange for our opinion on them. The company in no way told me what to write, or influenced me in any way.

Juicy Skin Care Gold Glitter Up Review

I'm always pretty careful about what I put on my skin. I have a ton of allergies, but one that gets me is my allergy to sulphates. Sulphates are in a lot of skin care products.

Gold Bond Lotion & Body Glitter Lotion has nothing harmful in it. I love the way it looks on my skin!

Ingredients:

  • Water
  • Ribes Nigrum Fruit Extract
  • Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
  • Actinidia Chinensis Seed Oil
  • Betaine
  • Aloe Barbadensis Extract
  • Cucumis Sativus Extract
  • Raffinose - It's a galactose, glucose, and fructose. It can be found in beans, cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, other vegetables, and whole grains.
  • Carbomer - This one threw up a bit of a red flag in my mind. It's a thickener. WebMD said to consult your Pharmacist before using it.
  • Triethanolamine - Used as a buffing agent.
  • Allantoin - Prevents acne.
  • DMDH Hydantoin - Another red flag. This is formaldehyde. It can cause skin cancer over time.
  • Apple Fragrance

There are a few ingredients I don't like.

Here Comes the Sun:

This product works best for after being in the sun.

How it Looks:

I put some on the right side of my hand to rub in. Then I added a blob, so you can see what it looks like when it's not rubbed in.

I do love how it looks! It adds a shimmer to the skin that's pretty/not flashy. I'm not a girly girl, but I do like pretty things from time to time. Since Isaak's favorite color is sparkly shimmery shiny gold, I thought this product would be fun to try.

Cost:

There is 5.29oz. for $24.99.

Have you ever used a lotion with a sheen or glitter in it?

Rash on the Face

Isaak has a cold. Blah! Our weather can't make up it's mind, so I'm sure that is just lovely for sickness. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 50s and on Thursday we're supposed to have a major snow storm.

Isaak is all red under his nose because he's been wiping it so much. :(

I noticed his face is really dry to. I have a lotion that contains only certified organic ingredients. I've used it on his arms and legs many times. I decided to apply some to his face. BAM he got hives all over.

I washed it off his face and gave him some allergy medicine. The rash was gone 30 minutes later. It stinks that Isaak has such sensitive skin. I'm like that to, but I don't think I was at his age.

Nature in the Nude Review

I had a wonderful opportunity to review some products from Nature in the Nude.

I have to say that I couldn't be more pleased with the ingredients. I have to be really careful because as I've aged I've found that my skin is pretty sensitive! Anything with the ingredient, Methosulfate I can't use. I break out in a rash that won't go away until I get a shot of steroids. It's pretty bad. With Nature in the Nude I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals being in any of their products!

During the winter months I find that my skin gets really dry. I have to use more lotion.

Citrus Pick-me-up is a certified organic, energizing facial toner with the scent of grapefruit and orange. It is $19.99.

The ingredients include:
  • Witch Hazel Extract
  • Rose Hydrosol Water
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Vegetable Glycerin
  • Grapefruite Essential Oil
  • Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  • Rosemary Extract
Butter Me Up is a certified organic, nourishing body lotion with the scent of vanilla and honey. It is $24.99.

I have to add that I'm most excited about this product! I love the vanilla and honey scent! I use lotion a lot this time of year.

Ingredients:
  • Aloe Juice
  • Calendula Hydrosol
  • Chamomile Hydrosol
  • Unrefined Cocoa Butter
  • Vegetable Glycerin
  • Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Vitamin E
  • Rosemary Extract
  • Vegetable-derived Emulsfying Wax
  • Fragrance Oils
  • Citric Acid
  • Benzoin Resin
  • Vanilla Absolute
Clean Freak is a certified organic, moisturizing facial cleanser with the scent of lavender lemon. It is $19.99.

I wasn't sure about this product. I've never been a fan of lavender. For some odd reason I had a product when I was pregnant with Isaak that was loaded with lavender. It was too strong and bothered my pregnancy nose. I have to say that the mix with lemon is pleasant.

Ingredients:
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Saponified Oils of Coconut, Sunflower, and Castor
  • Unrefined Shea Butter
  • Unrefined Cocoa Butter
  • Vegetable Glycerin
  • Lavender Essential Oil
  • Lemon Essential Oil
  • Rosemary Extract
Scrub-a-dub-dub  is a certified organic, exfoliating sugar scrub with the scent of chocolate coconut. It is $24.99.

I love this product to! The scent is so wonderful. I swear I could eat it, but wouldn't. I've never used a sugar scrub; I think I'm addicted.

Ingredients:
  • Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Raw Cacao Powder
  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Cane Sugar
  • Rolled Oats
  • Rosemary Extract

Tropical Traditions Peppermint Moisturizing Lotion Review and Giveaway!

Tropical Traditions sent me Organic Peppermint Lotion to review and giveaway.

I have to say that Isaak and I get pretty dry skin during this time of year. We both have Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a very common skin condition often referred to as "chicken skin". It is resembles goosebumps, it is characterized by the appearance of small, rough bumps on the skin. We just have it on the back of our upper arms and top part of our legs. It's pretty common. I didn't realize that 1/2 our population has Keratosis Pilaris. I'm sure some have Keratosis Pilaris, and are not familiar with the name.

I love this lotion because:
  • It's free of harmful chemicals
  • Fits in my purse or carry on bag
  • Can be used for boy or girl
  • Smells good
  • It is a thicker lotion
