Top Crazy or Funny Things That Happened During Halloween

  1. I had a bunch of kids come up to the door for candy. The Dad was right there with them; holding his pillow case open for treats. I gave him some. I was thinking, "What the?" It just kind of threw me.
  2. Isaak came up and touched my Halloween unibrow and said, "WOW I thought it was going to be fuzzy." As if my eyebrow grew like that over night. I had to laugh.
  3. I told Daddy to take over with handing out candy. I desperately needed to shower to get all that make-up and black hair spray off! So he turned off our porch light, and went downstairs to work. It was 8:30. I usually don't turn our porch light off until 10. What time do you turn your porch light off for trick or treaters?
  4. It took me three time to wash all the black out of my hair. I scrubbed my skin to get all my makeup off, but I still had some on my chest. Yep I had brown makeup everywhere to look Mexican. I was a mess. Now I'm clean.
  5. Isaak asked me Halloween morning, "Mom why am I the same thing this year that I was last year?" I said, "Because you wanted to be Spider-Man again." He said, "But Mica's something different." I said, "I let you pick out whatever costume you wanted. You picked out The Amazing Spider-Man costume." He had Spider-Man remorse.
  6. The boys did really well with trick or treating. Better than ever with manners!

The dad was trick or treating, too?? Is that a new thing?? Because if it is, I am totally doing that next year LOL.

Honestly, I wouldn't have given him anything. Except a dirty look maybe.

Maybe he had a sick kid at home, or one too little to trick or treat, and his wife made him do it. Not that this ever happened to me, you know. Because I would never let my wife make me do that... well, if it ever came up. Which it didn't.

I guess the Dad wanted some candy too.

Oh fun! We have never had a trick or treater so I'm no help on the porch light.

I usually turn the light out right a 7 when it's over, though I don't see any trick or treaters out after about 6:30 anyway.

We don't get trick or treaters here, so I don't know about the light.

LOL at the fuzzy eyebrow comment. :)
