When I Get to Be Your Age
Pine Cone
I took the boy's outside this morning. We went to hang up a pine cone covered in peanut butter and bird seed.
Afterward Mica said, "Bird's come on! Fly to the pine cone I made for you already!"

Almost Wordless Wednesday - Sharing Cheesecake With Great Grandma Kent
- Isaak had just gotten done with an ice cream cone.
- A slice of Cheesecake was set in front of Great Grandma Kent. She started feeding Isaak her Cheesecake. We told her to stop feeding him. It took her awhile to understand. She has Alzheimer's disease. Great Grandma Kent took her Cheesecake back. As you can see, Isaak still wanted the yummy dessert!
- One thing that makes Great Grandma Kent happy is seeing her great grand kids! Isaak and Mica really love Great Grandma and Grandpa Kent!

Scaredy Cat
- Isaak is the scaredy cat. When we put him down to bed he's scared of a couple things.
- He has a dimmer for a light in his room. We're thinking that needs to go. We'll get a regular flip on switch and a night light. The dimmer will stay dim, then when the air or heat kicks on it gets brighter. Not good for a scaredy cat.
- Last night and the night before he said he was scared of the owl in his tree. The one that I made.
- He was crying a scared cry.
- Daddy said, "Isaak why are you afraid of the owl?"
- Isaak says, "Owl sleeping. Birds awake."
- There you have it, I should of made an awake owl.
- That really would of made no sense because his wall is a day time scene. Owl's sleep during the day.
- Isaak's certainly different from Mica who can sleep through anything.
- Mica didn't give up naps until recently. He still sometimes takes a nap. Isaak won't take a nap sometimes. He just lays in there, jabbers and sings.

She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not
- I was outside doing some yard work. Mica had joined me.
- Mica picked up a small flower, and started pulling the petals off saying, "She loves me. She loves me not."
- Someone in preschool taught him this.
- I wonder who the "she" is that he was talking about?
Toyscamp
- Crazy House is hosting a giveaway where one lucky reader will win $50 to Toys Camp.
- I had never heard of Toys Camp before. They have really fun toys. I really like their Science selection!
- Here are a few of the toys that stood out to me:
We have one of these already. They make perfect stocking stuffers.
Isaak loves to dress up!
I could see Daddy and Mica getting into this.
