WW: Warhol {Linky}

I am glad I got my gecko Warhol. He used to stand at his tank like he wanted to come out to play, then fall and winter happed. A lot of times geckos like to just chill in their tank, and eat less when it is colder. He comes out to hang out with us sometimes.

It's a good thing they are like a cat, and poop in the same spot in their tank. Otherwise my poor husband's head may have gotten a surprise.

Before anyone says, "Oh gross!" I can't have very many pets. I have allergies and asthma. When I was little my parents had to give up their short haired dogs because I kept getting sick. Geckos it is. They are cute, like to cuddle (sometimes), and each have their own personalities (we have two).

Do you have any pets?

Geckos sound like great pets! We have the occasional little lizard running around our house now that it's summertime. We usually leave them alone unless one needs rescuing. We own two dogs and two cats.

Nice post and descriptions had to laugh at the hubby's head comment lol

It's nice to see unusual pets also loved :-)

Have a Geckotastic week Alissa 👍

The reason they eat less when it's cold is they use energy to digest (so I think they eat more when it's hot and store it - that could be wrong tho). I thought gecko's were called Ciak in Malaysian for the sound they make but google says ChitChat (for the sound they make)....

My sister has had many gecko's over the years. She loved each one. If it works for you then it's a good thing.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥

We have a cat. We would have to keep your geckos very secure if we had our pets in the same room. My cat is old (we adopted her old and that was years ago now) but she is FAST. We live in a state with lizards and if one gets in, I try my best to get her isolated in another room so we can catch the lizard and save their little lives!!!

I enjoy watching your gecko posts. They're sweet. :)
