- It's supposed to snow about 4 to 7 more inches Tuesday night/Wednesday morning! The wind is supposed to be horrible! I imagine that will make the drifts horrible too!
- I'm so sick of this stuff!
- This has been a bad winter for snow. I don't mind it if it comes and goes, but we were hammered again and again. There has been no time for it to melt.
- I feel for my Dad (Grandpa Spiehs to the boys) who shovels all the older people's driveways in their neighborhood, plus his own and on top of that my Mom has surgery this Friday.

More Snow on the Way!
Patient Style
- I like any site that's pro making the experience of a patient in the hospital better!
- Patient Style is that store! They have designer hospital gowns, nursing covers, gift baskets, pillows, and chenille socks for women and men.
- My Organized Chaos is giving away one pair of their chenille socks for women and men.
- They look so comfortable! Enter to win.

Calm it Down a Little Bit!
- Mica told me to, "Calm it down a little bit" this evening.
- Gee...could it be because we are always telling him that? LOL
Baby Clothes
- I went through baby clothes today.
- I feel sad when I go through them.
- They are in taller bins now. I organized them all by size. Some things are not the sizes they say they are, so I put them in the smaller size down.
- I'm saving them for someone. My cousin Stacy, or my friend Sarah, someone will use them.
- A few things I don't think I'll ever give up. Like Mica and Isaak's hospital gown's when they were both sick, their first sleeping night gown's and the outfits they went home in. I can't part with those things.
- It's hard to imagine that my boys were ever that little. I remember Mica and Isaak swimming in 3 month sleepers. I actually got a 0 to 3 month sleeper before I had Isaak because I wanted a sleeper that actually fit him. I also stocked up on more newborn size diapers for Isaak. Mica needed them for a lot longer then other babies because his butt was so tiny.
- Mica peed on his clothing, but not in the diaper. He was a mystery with his pee. Isaak spit up on everything! The memories!
A Few More Inches
- We got a few more inches of snow overnight.
- We're running out of room to put the snow.

Where Do We Put the Snow?
- We're supposed to have another snow storm come through our way. I'm wondering...where do we put it?
- Omaha is under an emergency because we've already maxed out our budget with the snow crew.
- We can not open our back door. Not even enough for me to get a picture. I had to shoot this out our kitchen window. If I tried to go through the other way to clear the snow I can't. It's simply drifted up our fence.
- Look at our porch railing in the front. Some of that was from the snow Daddy cleared off of the roof.
Chasing the Dog
- Isaak ran after Aunt Angela's dog for 2 hours. He giggled the whole time.
- Mica asked, "Can we have a dog?" I said, "Sorry Mica, Mommy is allergic to dogs". One other time he asked me the same question and I said, "If we get a dog...then you'll have to get a new mother".
- He seemed to understand.
Rooted?
- Grandma Spiehs got me these root earrings from The Afternoon. I simply love that store!
- A few days ago I was wearing them. We were all at the dinner table. Mica stopped eating, and turned his head as close to upside down as he could go.
- I asked him, "What are you doing?" He said, "I'm trying to look at your earrings the right way".
- He thought they were trees, not roots.
Slumber Party
- Mica went over to Aunt Terra's for a slumber party with cousin's Evan and Ethan.
- I told Terra that Mica was already pretty much toast. He wouldn't take a nap today and went down last night late, 10 pm.
- When I called to tell him, "Goodnight" he sounded sleepy. She said he was quiet all night. He either gets quiet when he's really tired or giddy. Most of the time giddy.
- She was having them go down at 8:30 pm, a 1/2 hour after their usual bedtime.
- Poor Ethan's bedtime is 9:30 pm. Terra asked if he'd mind going to bed early? He said he didn't mind because he went to bed on New Years Eve at 1 am. He was tired too!
Bring in the New Year With Some ZZZZZZZZZs
- I came home early New Years Eve day. I went ahead and got all the Christmas tree decor off and in boxes.
- Mica woke up from his nap and told me that we needed to put the tree up again. I remember feeling the same way when I was a kid.
- We had pizza rolls, carrots, celery, apples, hummus, spinach artichoke dip and crackers for dinner. We ate out in the living room, which we don't normally do.
- Isaak LOVE the hummus! You can see it dripping down his chin! If it were up to him, he'd double dip multiple times!
- Daddy made a fire and set up tent's in the living room.
- We had plans of camping out, but Isaak never took a nap all day, so we put him down at 7:30 pm.
- We got Mica set up in a sleeping bag and mat at 8:30 pm. Daddy put Mica in his room when he said that he couldn't sleep at 10 pm.
- I fell fast asleep before Mica at 8:30 pm.
- I couldn't help it...days of scooping snow and waking up 2 times a night from Isaak caught up to me. I was tired.
- Daddy fell asleep at 11:30 pm. I felt for him staying up by himself when we had plans of camping out in the living room.
- We topped off New Years morning with sparkling grape juice and playing in the tents Daddy made.
- I do have to say that the boys didn't get into the tents as much as Daddy or I did when we were kids. Isaak sort of acted as if it was a normal part of our living room decor and Mica sat in it for a little bit, but soon moved off onto the couch.
