Have You Ever Worried About Your Kids Getting Abducted?
I have. Especially with Mica. He used to run ahead a lot. He's not as bad anymore. It still can happen.
There's new way of designing things all the time. This is a bus stop where kids see something different from adults. Making it easier for a kid to know what to do in a situation of being abducted.
When I was little I used to go play in the woods for hours and hours...that was in the 80s. I don't think I would be allowed to do that if I had been raised today - it's scary out there!
I really like the idea behind this. However, I wonder how many children would make that call? Even when they are abused, many do not report it for fear of being taken from their parents. Sometimes they think being removed from them is scarier that dealing with the abuse.
Also, our courts and child services are a joke. They care more about parent rights than keeping our children safe. Been dealing with them for 5 years with my niece, so this is a very sore subject with me. I'm not sure how effective it would be in our country, but maybe it would be beneficial in others?

When I raised my Daughter, I lived so far out in the country that this was not something I worried about.... Today would be a totally different story.
For some reason I can't get the video to load. Will check it later
I saw this on FB the other day and I was in awe. It's amazing how awesome this was/is.

This is really interesting! It's so sad and ridiculous that we have to even consider such measures, but we absolutely do.
