WW: Hummel Park {Linky}

This last weekend we made the trip to Hummel Park. They had hay rack rides, crafts, hiking all for free. The only cost was the $2 pie pumpkins.

Wild Turkeys greeted us as we entered the park.

Our hay rack ride.

The pumpkins the boys picked out. Isaak painted his. Mica wants his untouched, and turned into a pumpkin pie. Isaak said, "Maybe mine can turn into pumpkin soup." Funny because last year I made pumpkin soup, and he wouldn't touch it.

 They have a pretty stream by their clubhouse.

 Below is while we were waiting for my sister's family to get done painting pumpkins. That's my nephew Emerson, the boy's cousin. He loves kisses.

Isaak enjoyed the tire swing.

Mica enjoyed this tree tunnel.

All of my boys staring at Nebraska corn.

You got some really great pics.

When we left for school this morning there were turkeys in the front yard. I reminded them of the holiday coming up but they didn't pay me a bit of attention.

Love those wild turkeys! What a great experience going to pick out pumpkins like that. Halloween isn't big here in Australia. You guys do so many cool things for Halloween ... I feel like we're missing out!

Isn't it amazing how big wild turkeys are in real life? We've had fun watching them grow with their almost daily walks through our yard the last couple years. They stop coming just before fully grown.
What a miracle it is to see how big and well Emerson is growing! Prayers & hugs for many more birthdays for that brave little guy (hugs)
